Hi! I posted something similar to this before but I figured I could make a new post since it’s been a while and I’ve come up with different ideas. To recap, I have a character named Zoe and I need help coming up with names for her two friends, who are both girls. They’re American teenagers.
So far I’ve named them Leah and Violet, but that’s really only just a placeholder. Both fit the characters’ “vibe”, but I don’t think I’ll stick with that specific name set. Leah is still an option for now, though.
I’d like all the names to flow together but also sound nice with each other seperately, if that makes sense. I don’t want one of the names sticking out too much, or totally clashing with another one of the names. I’d like to avoid names ending in an “-ee” sound, but if they’re different enough and sound good with Zoe, I can think about it.
Some ideas I came up with are: Liv, Tess, Nora, Claire, Nina, Charlotte, Abby, Becca, Morgan, and again, Leah. I think these fit well and are definitely the style I’m going for, but I’m an overthinker when it comes to naming characters. I’m just not sure what set of names to choose, or if these names I thought of are even any good. Right now, though, I’m gravitating towards Zoe, Leah, and Morgan.
