Here is our current list. Opinions and suggestions are needed. I feel kind of stuck. We would like to use [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] as a middle name, after DH:
[name_m]Declan[/name_m] and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] are two of my favorite names though I don’t like [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] together. Personally I think [name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] is a great combination.
I agree that [name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] is a good combo from your existing list. What is making the combos difficult in my mind is that many of the first names that you are considering end in -r as does [name_m]Christopher[/name_m]. This may not bother you at all, in which case please ignore me!
Some suggestions along the same lines as [name_m]Declan[/name_m], [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u], [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] etc
As great a name as [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is, I wouldn’t put it with [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] as the middle - because they have the same number of syllables and end the same way, they feel sing-songy together.
I don’t really like [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] or [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] for similar reasons but they do sound better than [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] since they have different rhythms. For reasons beyond my understanding, I really dislike [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] as a name (there’s nothing objectively wrong with it, I just really don’t like it).
So my favourites are [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] and [name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m]. I think I’m liking [name_m]Declan[/name_m] a bit better, but for no particular reason - they both sound great to me.
