[name_f]My[/name_f] partner and I disagree on the name [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]. I personally LOVE it. He doesn’t like it as a first name but might be ok with it as a middle name (and that’s a big might). What are some alternative names similar to [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]? [name_m]Or[/name_m] first names that would make someone love the name [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] as much as I do? lol

Came to say [name_m]Zach[/name_m] (Zachary) which is so close in sound… but what do you love about [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]? The vibe? The hard “I” sound? Meaning?
What about Ezekiel/Zeke? For some reason [name_m]Zeke[/name_m] and [name_m]Ike[/name_m] remind me of each other so it was my first idea. These names also feel like [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] to me:
I like the name meaning of [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] as well as the vibe. I like the way the name sounds when I say it as well. I’m also a teacher so many names I associate with other kiddos I’ve had in the past. I’ve never had an [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] and never met one. It just hits all the right spots for me.
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m] is such a great name - my favourite from the Old Testament but transcends faith traditions and cultures. Timeless and modern sounding. Many great historical figures. Don’t give up on it yet, though good to consider alternatives. [name_m]Abram[/name_m], [name_m]Adam[/name_m], [name_m]Eli[/name_m], [name_m]Noah[/name_m], [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_m]Zachary[/name_m], [name_m]Zebedee[/name_m]?
I second the suggestions of all variations of [name_m]Zachary[/name_m], [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m], [name_m]Elias[/name_m], [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m], and [name_m]Silas[/name_m], and add Ezra/Ezran as another option. I like the variation of [name_m]Ezran[/name_m] better (Dragon [name_m]Prince[/name_m] fan here!), but [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] is a Hebrew name that means “helper,” which is nice.
