Ichiro “[name_u]Chi[/name_u]” Teshima (22) is [name_m]Yuma[/name_m]’s older brother. He is a free spirit and enjoys travelling the world. He is currently in [name_m]Melbourne[/name_m] for six months, having spent the previous six months in Tokyo with his fathers family.
Chi dreams of working in fashion, having studied fashion design at The [name_u]London[/name_u] College Of Fashion.
Torren [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] Harkley (22) is [name_u]Chi[/name_u]’s partner. [name_m]Born[/name_m] in [name_m]Perth[/name_m], Torren’s a professional model and has recently come to [name_m]Melbourne[/name_m] following three years in [name_u]Paris[/name_u], in order to attend their older brothers’ wedding. They’re a keen reader of poetry and absolutely adore the work of [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_u]Keats[/name_u] in particular, as well as enjoying customising bags, hats and making badges in their free time. With [name_u]Chi[/name_u], they’ve been travelling about together, including Torren taking them to nature spots which are both scenic and peaceful.
The couple have plans to return to [name_m]Halifax[/name_m] for a while, in order for Torren to meet the Teshima family, and admittedly they’re a little nervous - as around new people their shyness becomes more pronounced.
Amos is an architect and loves his work. He is a big sports fan and enjoys playing tennis in his spare time.
Juniper ‘[name_f]Juno[/name_f]’ [name_f]Erin[/name_f] Harkley-Symons (25) is [name_u]Amos[/name_u]’s wife and mother of their two children, who works as a dermatologist. She’s a quiet person who has a small, tight knit group of friends and enjoys reading to her daughters’, having eased up her workload after getting pregnant. [name_f]Juno[/name_f] grew up in a fairly chaotic environment, having consistent contact with only her younger sister, and desperately wants to avoid this for her own children - although, as [name_u]Amos[/name_u] points out, she’s the last person likely to repeat this.
Juno enjoys swimming to relax and gardening, having recently begun growing her own vegetables. Her younger sister frequently visits the family and is the go to babysitter when [name_f]Juno[/name_f] and [name_u]Amos[/name_u] want to spend some time to themselves.
Astrid ‘[name_u]Aster[/name_u]’ [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] Symons (22) is [name_f]Juno[/name_f]’s younger sister. A psychology major at La Trobe University, [name_u]Aster[/name_u] is planning on becoming a children’s therapist following graduation, which has been influenced by her own difficult upbringing. She’s less easygoing than her older sister - with some even considering her intimidating, in how intense she can come across - but this passion is accompanied by [name_u]Aster[/name_u]’s intense caring for her loved one’s, and how she’ll do anything to help them. Aside from school, she works as a receptionist at a veterany clinic, which is how she pays her rent.
Currently [name_u]Aster[/name_u] is living with her best friend, although she hopes to move in with her significant other once they’ve both finished school. She’s the proud owner of a tiny Munchkin cat named Figg, who [name_u]Aster[/name_u] adopted when she was seventeen, and the two have been inseparable since then.
Nyssa [name_f]Luisa[/name_f] Arevalo (21) is [name_u]Aster[/name_u]’s bet friend and roommate. She is majoring in drama at the same university as [name_u]Aster[/name_u]. [name_f]Nyssa[/name_f] is very carefree and artistic, always fun to be around. She’s going to miss both [name_u]Aster[/name_u] and Figg once they move out, and she’s hoping to get a dog to keep her company.
Idony ‘[name_f]Dodie[/name_f]’ [name_f]Solenne[/name_f] Arevalo (17) is [name_f]Nyssa[/name_f]’s younger sister. She’s currently living in Coles [name_u]Bay[/name_u] with their parents and younger brother, as her mum got a new job out there, prompting the family to move. [name_f]Dodie[/name_f] loves being near the sea as she’s an aspiring marine biologist and enjoys having time to herself, as her little brother always wants to know what she’s up to. At school, her outgoing nature has allowed her to become fairly popular already, although she’s preferring to keep out of drama as she’s too tired from the move to get involved.
Recently, [name_f]Dodie[/name_f] adopted a pet rabbit - Chestnut - who she absolutely adores and loves to spoil. She’s considering starting a YouTube channel dedicated to the repainting of the hutch, but doesn’t want to commit until she’s certain.
Ana [name_f]Raquel[/name_f] [name_m]Perez[/name_m] (17) is one of [name_f]Dodie[/name_f]’s friends at her new school. Her father was a military man, so she moved around a lot during her childhood so she understands what it’s like to be the new girl. She’s the vice-president of their school’s Latinx club and is also a member of the swim team.
Estefania ‘[name_f]Effie[/name_f]’ [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] Saucedo (16) is a fellow member of the Latinx club alongside [name_f]Ana[/name_f]. She also belongs to the school’s art society, being a keen illustrator, who makes her own zines: some to sell online and others for gifts. [name_f]Effie[/name_f]’s the eldest of three siblings and apple of her mother’s eye, with the two sharing a very close relationship, especially after she was diagnosed with anxiety.
She’s the owner of two moggies - [name_u]Jazz[/name_u] & [name_u]Lemon[/name_u] - and is very close with the former, who [name_f]Effie[/name_f] rescued when she was twelve along with her best friend. Recently, she began dating a fellow art club member, but they’re taking it slow.
Byron [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] Keswick (16) is [name_f]Effie[/name_f]’s boyfriend and fellow art club member, who specialises in print making and creates t-shirt designs, which he collaborates on with his older sister: a textiles student. [name_m]Byron[/name_m]’s laid back and tends to keep to himself, having a small, close friend group who aren’t the flashiest.
He’s very understanding of [name_f]Effie[/name_f]’s preference to take things slower, although he had a crush on her for a while before taking the plunge and asking her out. On weekends, he works in the small gallery owned by his aunt, coming from a family of artists.
Odette ‘[name_m]Odie[/name_m]’ [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] Keswick (19) is [name_m]Byron[/name_m]’s older sister and unofficial business partner, currently studying fashion design at university. An accomplished sewer and upcycler, [name_m]Odie[/name_m]’s dream is to become a designer, currently carving out her own style and shopping around her creations - having had a few modest successes. [name_m]Odie[/name_m]’s also fairly popular on campus and has a large friend circle, but is particularly close with three people - one of whom is her best friend, whom [name_m]Odie[/name_m]’s known since she was three.
She lives with her significant other in a cosy apartment with a whippet puppy [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]. [name_m]Odie[/name_m] visits her family regularly, with plans to go on a road trip with [name_m]Byron[/name_m] over spring break.
Originally he wanted a cat but [name_m]Odie[/name_m] insisted on a puppy instead. [name_m]Griffith[/name_m] owns property in Japan and wants to move their after university. If he didn’t pursue acting he wanted to become a professional karate instructor; Since he is a previous champion from high school.
Rosalind ‘[name_f]Rose[/name_f]’ [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] Merck (19) is [name_m]Griffith[/name_m]’s younger sister and a fine arts student. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] has always felt a little insecure when compared to her brother’s successes, and this prompts her to be somewhat hyper critical of herself, with a perfectionist streak where her work’s concerned. More than anything, she would love to pursue art full time, but [name_f]Rose[/name_f] knows of the pitfalls and intends on continuing at the family business while trying to achieve her dream.
She lives with three of her close friends quite a far distance from campus, but [name_f]Rose[/name_f] recently saved up enough to get her own car, and her best friend also has a license. When she isn’t gaming or thrifting, [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is with her girlfriend, her high school sweetheart and most trusted confidant.

[name_f]Mara[/name_f] opted against attending university thanks to difficulties in her personal life and has gone into working full time, eventually ending up as a radio station host after taking a chance and it worked out. She also hosts a true crime podcast with a close friend of her and Rose’s from high school, which was influenced by the fact [name_f]Mara[/name_f] at one point wanted to study criminology. A kind, supportive person, she does her best to help her girlfriend overcome her insecurities and always wants to ensure [name_f]Rose[/name_f] understands her own strengths.
[name_f]Mara[/name_f] recently moved out, but has remained close to her family, regularly visiting them to reassure her parents she’s doing well. Her apartment is the embodiment of organised chaos, which is never something to phase [name_f]Mara[/name_f] or her bearded dragon Charcoal.

[name_f]Vivi[/name_f] attends a private school after applying for a scholarship, and the transition was something she struggled with initially, feeling insecure next to some of her peers. Now she’s found her stride, being a noted musical student - who specialises in singing and cello - who also enjoys [name_f]English[/name_f]. While not fully certain about what she wants in the future, be it pursuing music or writing, [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] is determined to pursue the arts; being encouraged by her big sister and close circle of friends.

She has been recently discovered by a fashion agency and wants to pursue a modelling career after high school. Growing up as an only child with her single mother, she has been through thick and thin but she has remained optimistic and determined. She is very charismatic and loves children and animals. He doesn’t share his mother and sister’s work ethic, and would much rather go out on his skateboard. He’s a photographer, as are his 2 best friends, and sometimes they model for each other - he has also modelled professionally, but chose not to pursue that career. When he’s not working or skating, he likes to explore Los [name_u]Angeles[/name_u], having only moved there a few months ago. He owns a snake named [name_f]Jinx[/name_f].
