While [name_f]Kenna[/name_f] is the sporty sister, [name_f]Miley[/name_f] prefers to focus on her looks. She hopes to one day be a fashion designer, much to her parents’ disappointment. She’s considering studying some sort of fashion or art degree as a compromise. She also loves her younger siblings, and will frequently do their hair for them when her parents are busy. [name_u]Rian[/name_u]’s father is in the military, meaning she spent a lot of her childhood moving around - living in [name_u]Germany[/name_u] for eight years - and with her only sibling being ten years her junior, this meant she was often lonely. Moving to be close to her cousins has been something [name_u]Rian[/name_u]’s delighted about, now only living an hour away. She’s popular - very much being an It Girl - and has a spot on the school council, which fits her Type A personality perfectly. When she isn’t visiting [name_f]Miley[/name_f] and [name_f]Kenna[/name_f], [name_u]Rian[/name_u]’s hanging out at the mall with her friends or practicing her photography - something she’s hoping to study at university, although she’s unsure how her parents will feel about this.

She’s a very outgoing child with many friends both in school and just around the neighborhood. She’s a good student, but she’s much rather be outside or drawing. Hera [name_f]Yvonne[/name_f] Malham (25) is [name_f]Tia[/name_f] and [name_u]Rian[/name_u]’s aunt, having been first fostered and then adopted by their maternal grandma. [name_f]Hera[/name_f] was distant from the rest of the family at first - having been through a lot by thirteen, some of which still impacts her - but she spends time with them now, often painting with [name_f]Tia[/name_f] as she’s an artist. When she isn’t painting or composing collages, [name_f]Hera[/name_f]’s modelling for her friends, although she doesn’t intend on pursuing it seriously.
She lives with her fiance and two dogs - [name_f]Hattie[/name_f], a sheepdog and [name_f]Frida[/name_f], a lurcher - in an apartment overlooking a popular street market where she regularly buys her art supplies.

Changying ‘[name_u]Finch[/name]’ Li (23) is a friend of [name_f]Hera[/name]'s and the friend group’s resident photographer. They are nonbinary and use they/them pronouns. They discovered their love for photography around sophomore year, and is known for their haunting shots of abandoned buildings. In contrast, the photographs they take for their friends is lively and full of life.
[name_u]Finch[/name] is the middle child with a doctor older brother and a pre-law younger sister— making them the family disappointment. Although they do make jokes like that, they still worry about what their parents think of them.

A freelance journalist, [name_m]Ozias[/name_m] prefers working for musical and art papers - as those are his own passions, being a bass player - but any work is worthwhile for him. He has a good relationship with his mothers’, even if his smoking habit isn’t exactly what they hoped for their son to pick up alongside his degree.
Recently, [name_m]Ozias[/name_m] moved in with his partner and they’ve been turning a small house into a place of their own, with [name_u]Finch[/name_u]'s photos decorating several walls. They intend on adopting a kitten once they’ve properly settled in.

Chenguang ‘[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]’ [name_m]Tan[/name_m] (25) is the godmother of [name_f]Maddy[/name_f]’s children and the one to introduce her to her fiance, as the two worked together on a film production: him an editor, [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] a costume designer. She moved from Yishun when she was six after her father passed away, growing up with her mother, younger brother and grandparents. [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] tends to appear needlessly sarcastic and has a very strong will, but once you get to know her, her softer side and caring nature shine through.
She’s a proud owner of three rescue chickens - [name_f]Dot[/name_f], [name_f]Madge[/name_f] & [name_u]Joyce[/name_u] - and currently isn’t interested in settling down like her best friend, instead being focused on her career and plans to travel.

He lost his mother to cancer as a young boy and his father got arrested for dealing drugs, [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] got adopted into a loving family where he had 8 adopted siblings, he grew up to be a very successful person with his own business. He is now 47 with 4 children and is married.

Now a music student, [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] has her own electro-punk band named [name_u]Free[/name_u] [name_u]Gift[/name_u] Voucher - in which she’s the lead guitarist, and hopes to continue with the group as a full-time career as they’ve begun to develop a respectable following. [name_f]Gigi[/name_f]'s still close to her parents - who’ve been supportive about her career, something she once worried about - and keeps in regular contact with them.
Currently she’s living with her fellow bandmate - the synth and keyboard player - in an apartment an hour’s drive away from her family, whom she visits when she’s got time off from performing. [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] has a long-term partner, who she hopes to move in with post-graduation, and owns a mixed breed cat named Cranberry.

Elio [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] Lively (18) is [name_f]Gigi[/name_f]’s younger brother. He was adopted from Anchorage when he was only a few months old, and grew up following his sister everywhere. [name_m]Elio[/name_m] loves winter, which inspired his passion of writing poetry, and he’s applied to study creative writing at university. Part of him had considered studying biology but [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] encouraged him to choose what would make him happy, and ultimately that’s composing poetry and short stories. When he isn’t scribbling notes or discussing new ideas with his best friend, [name_m]Elio[/name_m] enjoys parkour and skateboarding - having been doing the latter since he was six.
Although he’s considered distant and slightly cold at school, [name_m]Elio[/name_m] prefers his small, close friend group opposed to being the centre of attention. Recently though, he got into a relationship with a student at another school and this has gathered interest from some.

Majoring in fine art, they’re an expert on online fashion, having their own shop on Depop and hoping to have some of their designs screen printed on t-shirts. [name_u]Bailey[/name_u] loves the nightlife of university and regularly goes to gigs with [name_f]Priya[/name_f] - with their favourite genres being grunge and punk. They have two siblings - an older brother and younger sister - and alternate between houses for holidays, as [name_u]Bailey[/name_u]'s parents divorced when they were fourteen.
Having just moved in with their girlfriend, [name_u]Bailey[/name_u] the couple have recently got two cats, one of whom [name_u]Bailey[/name_u] named and the other their girlfriend did. They called the older cat, who’s a Norwegian forest cat, [name_m]Ernest[/name_m].

She’s a mathematics major who is secretly trying to pursue her love of music through Free Gift Voucher as the band’s resident songwriter and keyboard/synth player. She knows that [name_f]Gigi[/name] really does want to pursue the band as a full time gig, but she’s a little scared that it might not work out. Her parents do think [name_f]Jenny[/name]‘s gonna’ grow out of this at some point— but she knows she won’t at this rate.
Rooming with [name_f]Gigi[/name] is nice— but [name_f]Jenny[/name]'s got a feeling she’s slowly developing feelings for her roomie.

Kameron ‘[name_m]Kam[/name_m]’ [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] Burkhart (21) is the frontman of Free [name_u]Gift[/name_u] Voucher and a close friend of both [name_f]Jenny[/name_f] and [name_f]Gigi[/name_f]. [name_m]Kam[/name_m]’s somewhere between his friends’ perspectives - he can’t help but worry about the future of the band, but at the same time is committed to making things work. He tries his best to reassure the others and is a very warm, openly caring person. [name_m]Kam[/name_m] also volunteers at a local animal shelter and has recently adopted one of the dogs from there: a Doberman named [name_m]Linus[/name_m].
Kam was raised in Burnt [name_u]Oak[/name_u], a suburb of [name_u]London[/name_u], and regrets the fact he can’t travel home to see his family more - but wants to become financially stable before planning regular trips.

Marissa [name_u]Jean[/name_u] Burkhart [45] is [name_m]Kam[/name_m]’s mother. She misses him dearly, but she knows that he is chasing his dreams and she supports him in that. Besides, [name_m]Kam[/name_m]’s younger brothers and sisters still live in/around [name_u]London[/name_u] (two of them still at home with her), so she still has plenty of family around. She works as a marriage therapist, which she enjoys because it allows her to help people in real, concrete ways. When she’s not working or spending time with her children, she enjoys watching reality tv and going on morning jogs with her husband.

Attending Goldsmiths university, [name_f]Elysia[/name_f]’s a design student whose passion goes beyond sketching and she’s learned how to knit and crochet, making cute, personalised gifts for friends and family. [name_f]Elysia[/name_f]’s preference for design is often fairy and cottagecore blends, stemming from her long term love of fantasy novels and fairytales.
She’s also dating someone she met through university, but it’s early days so while her family are aware of this development, [name_f]Elysia[/name_f]’s significant other remains a mystery.

Marina [name_f]Jane[/name_f] Schulman (19) is a close friend of [name_f]Elysia[/name_f], and house shares with her and another friend. She is studying for a BA Hons in [name_f]Media[/name_f] and Journalism at Goldsmiths University. [name_f]Marina[/name_f] has a passion for reading, which has lead her to create a podcast with one of her friends on her course. They predominantly discuss true crime and theories around disappearances. [name_f]Marina[/name_f] dreams of one day writing full time.
Marina is the youngest of three girls, and her family still live in their hometown of [name_u]Brighton[/name_u]. She has a long term girlfriend who lives in [name_u]London[/name_u]; one of the many reasons for her choosing to move for her studies.

Mayumi ‘Yumi’ Teshima (20) is [name_f]Marina[/name_f]’s girlfriend. She’s also attending Goldsmiths, being an art student who specialises in sculpture and large canvas paintings. A much shyer person than her girlfriend, she made the title card for [name_f]Marina[/name_f]’s podcast but never appears for discussions, although she’s very supportive. Yumi works in an art supply shop on weekends to save up extra money, and although this usually tires her out, she’s close with two of her coworkers.
Yumi grew up in [name_m]Halifax[/name_m] and regularly calls her family, being especially close with her younger sister. She’s the second of four children - two boys and two girls - who’s usually the source of calm among them all.
