He looks up to his older brothers but is a little annoyed by his younger brother who he sees a tag along. He recently bought a car so he can drive over to visit [name_u]Val[/name_u] and [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] and watch movies or work on mixing his music. He has crush on his senior year tutor and has recently come out to [name_u]Val[/name_u] as bisexual, but hasn’t told anyone else.

She suspects that he has a crush on her, but she just broke up with her boyfriend and wants to be single when she goes off to college in the fall. Besides tutoring students in math, she also is in the school jazz band and enjoys playing basketball with her friends at the YMCA. He’s a year older than her, so he left for college last year, where he cheated on [name_f]Leilani[/name_f], leading her to dump him. He’s a little bit mean, and very cynical and rude, but he’s good looking and sometimes funny, so he has a lot of friends anyway. He regrets cheating on [name_f]Leilani[/name_f], but not enough for him to swallow his pride and apologize. He’s planning on dumping his current girlfriend as well. [name_u]Isak[/name_u]’s younger sister is a good friend of [name_f]Leilani[/name_f], and she’s been furious with him ever since the breakup.

[name_f]Bianca[/name_f] [name_f]Maud[/name_f] [name_m]Wilson[/name_m] ( 15 ) is the younger sister of [name_u]Isak[/name_u] and they are not close. [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] has a hard time making friends and enjoys spending time by herself reading in her library. [name_u]Isak[/name_u] is very rude to his younger sister and this makes [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] upset but she is closer with her younger siblings. While not studying, [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] enjoys horseback riding and skateboarding at the skatepark; She has a crush on one of the people that also skate with her. [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] is currently learning how to speak Arabic and wants to earn a degree in linguistics after highschool.

Maia [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_m]Wilson[/name_m] (14) is [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] and [name_u]Isak[/name_u]’s younger sister. She’s not close with [name_u]Isak[/name_u], but she loves hanging out with [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] and their other brother at the skatepark, even though she’s normally roller blading instead of skateboarding. She also likes to write and is taking a creative writing class at the local community center for middle and high schoolers.

Matias ‘[name_m]Tye[/name_m]’ Wu (14) is [name_f]Maia[/name_f]’s close friend and fellow aspiring writer, who’s the youngest Wu sibling. [name_m]Tye[/name_m] doesn’t skate - having terrible balance - but does go to the park with [name_f]Maia[/name_f] to hang out with their friends. He’s a keen climber though, and can often be found in the large tree in his home’s back garden, composing poems from where his older brother can’t interrupt or pry. Although he loves his family, [name_m]Tye[/name_m] doesn’t always enjoy being the youngest, thanks to the protective nature of not just his parents but also his siblings.

Hyungjoon “[name_m]Henry[/name]” Kang (16) is a student at the school [name_m]Tye[/name] and [name_f]Maia[/name] go to. He’s a high school junior and is co-captain of the debate team. Cold and aloof to most, he’s known as the Ice King to underclassmen and people who don’t know him. However, his closest confidants and debate team know that he’s just a giant softie with terrible resting bitch face.
Even though he’s an only child, [name_m]Henry[/name] would consider his debate team as his faux-siblings— except his captain, whom he has a crush on.

[name_f]Liza[/name_f]'s a total contrast to him in nature, being an intense, outspoken person who never shies away from anything and is considered a little intimidating by those who only know her by reputation. She’s very encouraging and supportive in spite of this, wanting nothing more than to inspire others.
[name_f]Liza[/name_f]‘s from a small family - being raised by her single mother and has one older sibling - but they’re very close. She admires her mothers’ strength a great deal, as her father passed away when she was young, and wants to make her proud

[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] “[name_u]Izzy[/name_u]” [name_u]Azul[/name_u] Mijares (19) is the older sister of [name_f]Liza[/name_f] and participated in the debate team while she was in high school. Currently, [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] is in college studying abroad far away from her little sister in [name_u]Athens[/name_u] Greece but they call each other every day to update on another. [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] is currently studying music at university and wants to continue her singing career.
Izzy shares an apartment with three roommates. As well, [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] has a pet [name_u]Golden[/name_u] Retriever named [name_m]Champ[/name_m]. [name_f]Liza[/name_f] does not have any memory of their father so [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] tells her stories about their childhood when their parents were still together. [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] is not the best student but still puts a lot of effort into her work.

Misaki ‘[name_u]Micah[/name_u]’ Shimizu (19) is [name_u]Izzy[/name_u]’s best friend roommate, who accompanied her to study abroad, although she’s studying literature opposed to music. [name_u]Micah[/name_u] has always had a passion for writing and used to write for the school paper, specialising in current events as she hopes to enter the world journalism eventually. She’s always the friend to have sweets at hand, although her favourites are bon-bons.
Micah is currently in a relationship, but it’s early days and she doesn’t want to rush things, instead just enjoying the time they get to spend together.

They met at an art museum and went on a date to their local coffee shop where he asked her out. [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] is currently studying marketing at university and plans on graduating early to get his master’s. [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] was raised by a single mother and is the oldest child of six, he is also the first person in his family to go to college.
Alfie works at a local bar in town and lives with his friend back from highschool. They go to the gym everyday together.

Claudia [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_m]Sanders[/name_m] (18) is [name_u]Alfie[/name_u]’s younger sister and the third child. She currently resides in their home town of Salford and is applying to attend Manchester University to study physics, not wanting to move too far away from her mum and siblings, as she deeply misses [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] as it is. [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] tends to hide her fears behind being outspoken and friendly, being popular at the sixth form college she attends, although this does dig into her school work sometimes.
She also works in a high street clothing shop on weekends, saving up both for university and also to help out more by obtaining a degree of financial independence. [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] has also just earned her drivers license and although she doesn’t have her own car, she borrows her best friends’ to drive them and another friend to school.

[name_u]Quincy[/name_u] decided against going to university, and sometimes feels ashamed by this - but his career is his passion and he’s developing an impressive following now that he’s working full-time. He hides his insecurities behind a laidback, fun loving demeanor and hates to cause his family stress. [name_u]Jasper[/name] is an upcoming solo artist who performs as ‘JASPER’. Originally known for his cover songs, he has now released an EP and it has exploded all over social media. He knows that [name_m]Quincy[/name]'s kind of new to the social media game, so he’s trying his best to quietly help his friend. He’s aloof and kind of bad with feelings, but he’s trying.

A trans girl, she’s just been scouted by a modelling agency and the timing couldn’t have been better, as she was uncertain about attending university and the deadlined for application was ticking. She’s working with [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] to help their friend improve his social media presence, and regularly shouts them both out from her popular Insta. [name_f]Lumi[/name_f]’s just moved in with her boyfriend, bringing her beloved chinchilla Sunflower, along with her numerous berets (as you can’t just have one these days).

She’s a Korean adoptee, and has a great relationship with her family. She has a sister who was adopted from Vietnam. She’s still living with her whole family, but she’s planning to move out within a year.
Ara’s been a dancer for as long as she can remember. She’s a dancer of all genres, but her favorite genres are hip hop and contemporary, often fused together. [name_u]Ever[/name_u] since she had graduated high school, she has been opening dance classes which has been earning great popularity and recognition. She promotes her classes and shares her daily life as a dancer on YouTube, in which [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] makes an appearance every now and then. They haven’t told the audience they’re a couple yet, and they find it amusing when people ship them. She loves making her own choreography, and she wants to set up her own studio one day.
Her hobby is baking, and she often brings fresh baked goods over to her neighboring couple. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] may be a bit bad with his feelings, it doesn’t matter to [name_u]Ara[/name_u] since she’s an introvert herself, and she’s got all the patience needed from practicing the same dance move for hours on end.

June [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_m]Hearst[/name_m] (49) is [name_u]Ara[/name_u]’s mom. She and her husband couldn’t have kids naturally, so they decided to adopt [name_u]Ara[/name_u] and her sister. [name_u]Ever[/name_u] since adopting them, [name_u]June[/name_u]’s been an adoption activist and a foster carer, however she hasn’t adopted any foster kids. [name_u]June[/name_u] owns her own dance studio, and over the years it has become very successful - she now employs 9 dance teachers. She’d wanted to become a professional dancer, but unfortunately she suffered an injury at 17 which meant this wasn’t possible. She instilled her love of dance into both of her daughters, however one of them gave it up at 12 years old, preferring to play sports such as tennis or volleyball.

Tuyen ‘[name_f]Tula[/name_f]’ [name_m]Minh[/name_m] [name_m]Hearst[/name_m] (16) is [name_u]Ara[/name_u]’s younger sister and a member of her school’s tennis team, having left dance as she didn’t want to be overshadowed by [name_u]Ara[/name_u]’s success. When she was dancing, [name_f]Tula[/name_f] preferred jazz and tap, sometimes dabbling in them, albeit she doesn’t tell anyone. Her nature is reserved and to some, she seems distant, only really letting her warmth and good sense of humour show around her closest friends. The status of being a noted school athlete doesn’t always help where people’s assumptions are concerned. [name_f]Tula[/name_f] intends on travelling to Bien Hao - where she was born - upon turning 18, which her parents have been encouraging about.

Kenna [name_f]Diane[/name_f] [name_m]Caldwell[/name_m] (16) is [name_f]Tula[/name_f]’s best friend and tennis teammate. She’s the one who convinced [name_f]Tula[/name_f] to join tennis when she was unsure about sticking with dance. Besides tennis, she also loves playing football and hanging out with her younger siblings. Her father is a lawyer and her mother is a dentist, and they expect all of their children to go to university and get a good career. Although she resents the pressure, especially as the eldest child, she does plan on going to university to become a math teacher. She has a pet budgie named [name_u]Fable[/name_u].
