Lately I’ve been crushing on these–thoughts? I think they’d mostly be MNs, but I’m just curious as to some thoughts.
[name]Claudia[/name]. I had somewhat given up on [name]Claudia[/name], it seemed rather dated, but I have this adorable coworker with the name, and she’s really brought it to life for me. It just feels so classic and unexpected! I like that it’s lower-ranking, too. I was thinking possibly [name]Lillian[/name] [name]Claudia[/name] [name]Joy[/name] or [name]Zara[/name] [name]Claudia[/name] [name]Joy[/name] for a combo.
Coppelia. There’s just something unexpectedly cool about it. Plus, I’ve been getting back into playing the piano, and one of my favorite pieces right now is Valse Lente of the ballet Coppelia. It’s such a hauntingly beautiful melody, and the name Coppelia just seems to suit that. I have no clue what I’d pair it with, though. [name]Tess[/name] Coppelia? [name]Zara[/name] Coppelia?
[name]Mirielle[/name]. I just like it! It’s rumored to mean “admired”, which I think is lovely. I love the idea of [name]Zara[/name] [name]Mirielle[/name]. I think it might have originated from a misspelling of [name]Mireille[/name] (mee-[name]RAY[/name], rather than mee-ree-elle), but I’m loving the frillier -ielle ending. Plus, a very beloved great-aunt’s FN is [name]Muriel[/name], and [name]Mirielle[/name] sounds so similar, but a bit more updated. I just really like it.
[name]Claudia[/name]- I think the sound is quite pretty, but I can’t get past the meaning. I think [name]Lydia[/name] is more melodic, and doesn’t have the “clawed” sound.
Coppelia- I think the musical association is quite pretty. I think [name]Eve[/name] Coppelia would be gorgeous.
[name]Mirielle[/name]- It’s too frilly to me, but the family connection is very sweet.
[name]Claudia[/name] - I really don’t like it. TBH, I think the sound is very ugly and not feminine at all. I imagine a grouchy old lady that gets offended over the smallest things.
Coppelia - I honestly like [name]Capella[/name] better. Coppelia just reminds me of copper and just seems clunky to me.
[name]Mirielle[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this, especially since [name]Miri[/name] has been an early love of mine. It has such a melodic sound to it! [name]Zara[/name] [name]Mirielle[/name] is lovely!
I adore Coppelia! NB really needs to add it to the database. [name]Zara[/name] Coppelia is gorgeous.
[name]Mireille[/name] has been growing on me lately. I’d pair it with a longer first name. From your signature, maybe [name]Arianne[/name] [name]Mireille[/name] or [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Mireille[/name].
[name]Claudia[/name] - I actually really like this name. I think it sounds pretty, and [name]Lillian[/name] [name]Claudia[/name] [name]Joy[/name] sounds so good together!
Coppelia - Not my style, and I really don’t like it all that much. But it’s still a good name.
[name]Mirielle[/name] - It’s cute, it’s very girly, and I really do think it could be such a cute name on a little girl. And it is a name that would go with an adult as well, all the way until she is a senior. So this is a very good name, in that sense.
I think [name]Mirielle[/name] is the prettiest! Coppelia is a little out there for me, and [name]Claudia[/name] has never been a favorite of mine… But [name]Mirielle[/name] is very pretty. I like it with [name]Zara[/name] too.
I’ve always liked [name]Claudia[/name], ever since The Babysitters Club. Coppelia I’m not a big fan of. I also really like [name]Mirielle[/name], though I did at first think it was a misspelling of [name]Mireille[/name] before I read the rest of your post. [name]Zara[/name] [name]Mirielle[/name] is gorgeous! (and [name]Zara[/name] is one of my favorites)
I love [name]Claudia[/name], and I think it works great for you. I like the flow of [name]Lillian[/name] [name]Claudia[/name] [name]Joy[/name] a lot. There is ate character on the show ‘[name]Army[/name] Wives’ named [name]Claudia[/name] [name]Joy[/name], she recently died on the show, but she went by [name]Claudia[/name] [name]Joy[/name] all the time. I don’t know if it will be an issue but it is the first thing I think of.
Coppelia doesn’t really appeal to me at all sorry
[name]Mirielle[/name] is very sweet, I think [name]Zara[/name] [name]Mirielle[/name] is simply stunning
I absolutely love love love [name]Claudia[/name], if I had a baby today I’d name her [name]Claudia[/name] [name]June[/name] I love how it dates back to Ancient [name]Rome[/name] but is somehow modern and spunky (I’ve never understood when people say it’s dated, the blurb about it on Nameberry says it’s a “strong and modern choice” too). I think the meaning is why it’s so underused but nobody knows the meanings of names anyway! It sounds very classy and sophisicated to me and I love the nickname [name]Clia[/name]. I don’t really care for the others but [name]Mirielle[/name] would make a great middle name to honor a [name]Muriel[/name]!
[name]Claudia[/name]- I adore this one! It really is such a lovely name. Unexpected but oh so classic. The only set back for me is the meaning, but if you don’t mind it, I say go for it. [name]Lillian[/name] [name]Claudia[/name] [name]Joy[/name] has a better flow than [name]Zara[/name] [name]Claudia[/name] [name]Joy[/name], in my opinion.
Coppelia- Now this is unexpected! However, it has just the right amount of “cool” to make it work. As for pairing it with something, I’m at a loss. I like [name]Tess[/name] Coppelia but I feel like it needs one more name at the end, maybe a one syllable name like [name]Joy[/name].
[name]Mirielle[/name]- I think it’s sweet and I can see the connection with your great-aunt. I particularly like [name]Zara[/name] [name]Mirielle[/name].
