I have a 15 month old daughter named [name_m]Finnley[/name_m] [name_f]May[/name_f] Curie, and am 21 weeks pregnant with baby # 2, our first boy! With my daughter I knew [name_m]Finnley[/name_m] was her name from the moment I heard it, but am not getting that same feeling this time around. I have been looking at names since 15 weeks when they told us the baby was a boy, and there are names I like, but I am not convinced yet.
I like names that are unique but not too off the wall. As of right now here are the names I like:
[name_m]Beckham[/name_m]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u]
[name_u]Jude[/name_u]
[name_m]Harris[/name_m] (my maiden name)
Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband has been calling the baby [name_u]Reggie[/name_u] ever since I found out I was pregnant, no one knows why, and I would really like to call the baby his real name if I ever figure it out!

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]? It’s got your maiden name in it but it sounds better with [name_m]Finnley[/name_m]. [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] and [name_m]Finnley[/name_m].

I really love the name [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] for you. For me it brings up the image of [name_u]Indiana[/name_u] [name_m]Jones[/name_m] (what little boy wouldn’t want to share a name with the star of the film?), and the connection to your maiden name makes it really special.
I like [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] but dislike the nn [name_m]Harry[/name_m], and I think [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] goes great with his sisters name.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think people would automatically call harrison harry? I’m not to fond of the nn [name_m]Harry[/name_m] either, would probably call him [name_m]Harris[/name_m] for short.

None of the Harrisons I know are called [name_m]Harry[/name_m], and I know quite a few.
