Hello! I’m new here but wanted to get opinions on the name [name]Mara[/name] for a little girl…what do you think of it?
What middle name would you pair with it? What would you name her siblings?

[name]Mara[/name]. I know it’s a modern version of [name]Mary[/name], but [name]Mara[/name] is one of those names that’s like [name]Dana[/name] to me. It just feels kind of dated, and isn’t a member of any particular style (classic, vintage, etc.) I don’t think it’s ugly (I like the sound), but I suppose it just doesn’t do anything for me. I’m more of a [name]Mariel[/name], [name]Mary[/name], [name]Marielle[/name], [name]Mirabelle[/name], [name]Miranda[/name] type of person, so my opinion is biased.
Have you considered the name [name]Marin[/name]? It’s another modern version of [name]Mary[/name], and for some reason, I think it has more style than [name]Mara[/name]. (But that’s just me!)

For me, I am a girly girl, and I think I would go with [name]Amara[/name] over [name]Mara[/name] myself. I also like [name]Marina[/name] better than [name]Marin[/name].
