This is my newest list which is more braver and I find it quite lovely. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have new suggestions and new combo suggestions? I would prefer more boy name suggestions, but girl non-a-ending-names are welcomed, too.
[name_f]EDIT[/name_f]: Spelling error in the title, sorry!
I love your list! Your style is a dream to combo with. And kind of eerily like mine.
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f] [name_f]Sybille[/name_f]
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f] [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f] Valkyrie
[name_f]Lotus[/name_f] Cvijeta
[name_f]Lotus[/name_f] [name_f]Axelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Saskia[/name_f] [name_f]Melody[/name_f]
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f] Cvijeta
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f]
[name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
I’m not sure you need any names adding to the girl’s list so I’ll just point out which names I like instead.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] is a beautiful name that I think has a timeless quality, the same with [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] but to keep them from sounding old fashioned instead I’d pair them with more current choices. I wouldn’t have put [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] together, sorry! Perhaps [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] [name_u]Hero[/name_u] (you did mention being brave), [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] or [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]. [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] is a name I’d also pair with Valkyrie (which I adore). A name as strong as Valkyrie should be paired with something else inspirational and strong, like [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] ([name_f]Rosa[/name_f] [name_m]Parks[/name_m] or [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] the Riveter).
Other choices I like on your list are Nimue, [name_f]Ravenna[/name_f], [name_f]Elysia[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f].
As far as boys go I am SO glad to see [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] on this list. It’s one of my favourites. I always thought about [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] [name_u]Pax[/name_u] (meaning Beautiful Voice (of) [name_u]Peace[/name_u]) or [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] [name_m]Eric[/name_m]. You could also go with [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] [name_m]Frey[/name_m] (I’d drop the God from [name_m]Godfrey[/name_m]) or [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] [name_m]Emil[/name_m]. I was never sure about shortening [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] though which could be a problem but [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] could always be the middle name. [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m], [name_m]Erik[/name_m] [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m], [name_m]Thorin[/name_m] [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] or [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] could work.
Have you thought about [name_m]Augustus[/name_m]?
I also really like [name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_m]Lancelot[/name_m] from your siggy but I prefer [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] to [name_m]Edward[/name_m]. [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] would also work.
I always find boys names harder than girls but you have some really strong names on your list already
For the benefit of you both, I think [name_m]Orris[/name_m], [name_u]Ori[/name_u], and [name_m]Ozzy[/name_m] could all work as nns for [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m].
I have been searching for nns for [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] for so long and these are the most practical suggestions I’ve heard. Thank you. I like [name_m]Orris[/name_m] the most… maybe because it reminds me of [name_m]Osiris[/name_m]. I will never be able to move past the mythological names haha
Thanks, you’re sweet. I like names listed in this quote, as well as [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] [name_m]Theodoric[/name_m], [name_m]Emil[/name_m] [name_m]Lysander[/name_m], [name_f]Lotus[/name_f] Cvijeta (but Cvijeta means flower) and [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] [name_f]Melody[/name_f]. [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] [name_f]Sybille[/name_f] is cute, although I prefer [name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] or [name_f]Sibylla[/name_f].
malloryknox, I have consider [name_m]Augustus[/name_m], and I decided I would not use it. [name_u]August[/name_u] is still a option, though. I have also considered [name_m]Frey[/name_m]. [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] is lovely, and [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] [name_m]Frey[/name_m].
