New Quick Questions Thread!

Peter, Phineas and Jonathan- classic but not overly popular, like your other choices! They all fit to be honest, except Tancred which stands out as being very unique

Thoughts on Katri Violet and Suvi Alice - do they fit the vibe of Sarai Matilda, Cherith Eliza, Mabli Charlotte and Una Adele?

Ouisa Willa Kit and Bea sound like beautiful sisters or are at the very least complementary. Ouisa is unusual and I would say that if any of those names were to not quite fit, it would be that one. Cricket at a MN doesn’t really fit the theme at all in my opinion.

I’m LOVING the name Fleetwood for a girl but I just don’t know how usable it is? My name preference is generally quite traditional but SLIGHTLY quirky.

Fleetwood is a cool name, it reminds me of Fleetwod Mac, but I think it would be better suited as a middle. It could be used imo, but not in the first space. But you do you!
some names it might go well with are: Rose, Lily, Lillian, Jane, Linnea, Gray, Mae, Beatrice, Lacey, Kerensa.

what are your favorite vintage, quirky, fantasy, and whimsical names? Basically names like Aldwyn, Edwin, Moon, Whimsy, Daisy, Meadow, Aurelia, Eilonwy, Elodie, Solange, Minette, Lark, Ferris, Peregrine, Elyan, Kit(b), Riordan, Avalon, Philomena, Gray(g), Janella, Jaye, and Edison

Hopefully you like some of these!

Could you suggest some two-middle combos for Charles that would fit with brothers Arthur Theodore Jack and Edmund Percival Jasper? So far I’ve considered Charles Alexander Gideon and Charles Otto Frederick (somebody suggested this for me on the original thread, so thank you!), to give you an idea of what I like/what I’m looking for.

Hmmm… Lysander Gwaine Fable or Wilfred Kay Lore , maybe Alexander Elyan Forest or Conrad Valentine Soren.

How usable are Sunniva and Endellion in your opinion? And double middle combo suggestions for each if you want?

Sunniva seems very usable imo. Endellion is a bit more brave, I suppose, but I wouldn’t rule it out, my taste is much more Top 1000-simplistic, that’s all. I think both could work well enough.

I’m awful at combos, I’m sorry if these aren’t what you’re looking for!

Endellion Sophia Daisy
Endellion Flora Mae

Short, spunky names like Suvi, Katri and Sarai

@Greyblue those are very unusual for my taste, but I love the feel and the imagery of them! I think they can be very strong, or very sweet! I’ve always loved really short names!

Opinions on the name Skye for a girl? I love that it would honor my family roots, but I’m a little on the fence about it.

@may.rose

I like it, and I think it’s lovely that it has familial connections for you. If you’re too unsure about it, maybe just use it in the middle spot? That way you’re still honouring but it’s not upfront. In the right combo, it could be really beautiful! Perhaps with something more traditional/not as word-y - like Ophelia Skye, Ariana Skye, Victoria Skye; or Skye Alexandria, Skye Matilda or Skye Charlie?

Someone recently mentioned :latin_cross:ancred doesn’t fit with the rest of my boys names (:latin_cross:heodore,
:heavy_dollar_sign:ebastian, :hot_pepper:amison, :registered:ory, :hot_pepper:onathan, :hot_pepper:acob, :parking:hineas, William & :parking:eter). What do you think? What could I use in its place?

Tancred sounds too different and unusual from the other names. Maybe something more common like Rowan, Leo or Kai?

Thoughts on Endellion Isla?

@jonquils
I think Cornelia is great for a real baby girl!

Cornelia is not too much for a baby girl! The only names i would classify as ‘too much’ would be combos with all the names super long, or frilly, and just names that are too whimsical. THe only one name I think is too much for a girl is Aurelianella and for a boy…Idk I even used Valiant :smiley:.

I have been going through my user card thingy and evaluating my names. I kept almost all of them, but Willabelle Roseline Song had to go, she just wasn’t doing it for me. Bernadette got her middles Cressida Hero, which I still am not positive about . Riordan Xavier exited and now we have Varian Night, whi needs another first middle or second middle. Sabrina Echo, too.

SO my questions are: fill in the blanks:
Varian ____ Night ‘Rhian’ (ree un)
Sabrina ____ Echo ‘Sabre’
Bernadette _____ Hero 'Birdie’
