I like the nickname [name_u]Alex[/name_u] for [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], but only on an older kid-adult not on a little girl. What do you think of the nickname Alexy? not Uh-lex-y, but [name_u]Alex[/name_u]-ee like [name_f]Galaxy[/name_f]
I think alexy is very odd. What about allie or alexa. I don’t like xandra very much but its better than alexy
I guess Alexy works, it isn’t much different than [name_u]Lexi[/name_u]. [name_f]My[/name_f] cousin (who is about 12) is named [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] and she goes by [name_u]Alex[/name_u] or [name_u]Lexi[/name_u] or her full name.
I prefer it pronounced A-[name_u]Lexie[/name_u] but although I wouldn’t use it, Alexy is fine. If [name_u]Lexie[/name_u] can be a nickname why not Alexy? Alternative unusual nicknames:
[name_f]Alexia[/name_f]
[name_f]Lexia[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f]
Allia ([name_f]Ally[/name_f]-a)
[name_f]Lexa[/name_f]
[name_f]Xandra[/name_f]
Xandry
The only [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] I know goes exclusively by [name_f]Ally[/name_f] but I also know a few girls who are simply called [name_u]Lexie[/name_u]
You could call an [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] Alexy, I suppose.
For Alexandras, I love Alicky (more of a [name_f]Alice[/name_f] nickname, but still), [name_u]Alix[/name_u], [name_u]Allie[/name_u] and [name_u]Sacha[/name_u]/[name_u]Sasha[/name_u].
I know two Alexandras, one goes by [name_f]Alexa[/name_f] and the other is nicknamed [name_u]Alix[/name_u].
