I love [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], but I’m stuck on a nn! I’ve already considered Brose, but that could easily morph to Brosie, and then [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]. I’m warming up to something like [name_m]Bo[/name_m], Bro, or [name_m]Brody[/name_m]. Any suggestions?
You could call him Ames (pronounced Aims). I think [name_m]Brody[/name_m] is a fine nickname as well. I really love the elegance of the full name though! 
I agree-- A.J. could be a possible nickname, depending on the middle name. [name_m]Brody[/name_m] is also cute, imo.

What about [name_f]Ro[/name_f]?
I’ve had [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] on my list as a way to honour my late grandfather, [name_m]Amos[/name_m]. I think [name_m]Amos[/name_m] works, and [name_f]Ame[/name_f]… [name_m]Bram[/name_m] would even fit the bill and [name_m]Bas[/name_m]/ [name_m]Baz[/name_m].
Never been a big fan of [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] (reminds me of the pudding brand [name_f]Ambrosia[/name_f]), but I love [name_m]Brody[/name_m], and think it would work well with [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] wanted to say I absolutely [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_m]Jethro[/name_m]! If it were me, I’d swap it round - [name_m]Jethro[/name_m] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] - very handsome! x
