Nickname for baby name odysseus?

[name]Hi[/name]! I am not currently naming a baby just creating name lists like I have since I was 10. I have always love the name [name]Odysseus[/name], and love the name whole. However, I was wondering if any berries had any ideas for possible nicknames. Ideas can be creative and possibly a not related, related nickname- if that makes any sense. Like how in [name]Russia[/name] [name]Sasha[/name] is used for [name]Aleksandr[/name] or how [name]Alec[/name] might be used for [name]Alexander[/name] in the US.

Oh thanks! [name]Odie[/name] was the only one that I had on my list. I want to thank you as I love the suggestion of [name]Dezi[/name]; and the fact that it carries its own meaning of “desired one”.

[name]Odysseus[/name]: [name]Zeus[/name] similar to the previously suggested Seus. I like that it’s a valid name from the same culture.
I’d probably avoid [name]Dezi[/name] or [name]Desi[/name] as it’s too related to ABCD to me. ([name]Desi[/name] is derived from the Sanskrit “desh” meaning homeland).
