We’re having a boy and his name will be [name_m]Coleman[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] (after my husband and my dad). My husband is also [name_m]Coleman[/name_m] so we’ve been trying to decide what we’ll actually call him. Here’s the list:

[name_m]Cole[/name_m] is not here on purpose … it’s ok, I just like the other options better.

From your list, I would use [name_m]Tommy[/name_m] as a nn. I actually like initial nns a lot (we call my son TJ), but CT sounds awkward to me and just makes me think of CT scans. Would you consider CJ for [name_m]Coleman[/name_m] [name_m]Junior[/name_m]? I think it works better. What about [name_m]Colt[/name_m]?!
I second CJ ([name_m]Coleman[/name_m] [name_m]Junior[/name_m]), [name_m]Colm[/name_m] or [name_m]Colt[/name_m].
But I don’t think you need to pick a middle name before his arrival. When he’s here and you get to know him, another name might just come naturally.
