Nickname for Fabian?

I realize [name_m]Fabian[/name_m] is relatively resistant to nicknames, but I would like to call my little boy by some kind of nickname…

Fabes
[name_m]Fabe[/name_m]

Any other ideas?

I call him baby fabes a lot!

I am surprised, but I really love Fabes! Also, do you like [name_m]Fabi[/name_m], [name_m]Ian[/name_m], or [name_m]Fain[/name_m]?

Fabes is cute! I like @chrisco’s suggestion of [name_m]Ian[/name_m] and [name_m]Fain[/name_m].

The only suggestion I have to add is [name_u]Abi[/name_u], like [name_u]Avi[/name_u].

This is a personal thing but for me I would not use a nickname for [name_m]Fabian[/name_m]. If you call him Fabes already, then I would not change the nickname/pet name now.

Why not wait until you meet him? I’m sure something will come to you.

I like [name_m]Fabi[/name_m], or how about [name_u]Fee[/name_u], [name_m]Fin[/name_m], [name_m]Abe[/name_m] or [name_m]Ian[/name_m]?

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Finn[/name_u] as it was on our list but just wasn’t sure we could stretch it as nn for [name_m]Fabian[/name_m]!

Thanks for your suggestions! Btw [name_m]Fabian[/name_m] is 4 weeks old! We call him [name_m]Fabian[/name_m], and baby Fabes and Fabes. I am glad some of you find Fabes ok too!

If anyone has other ideas I am very open to them.

My first thought was [name_u]Finn[/name_u], I think it works!

[name_m]Fabian[/name_m] nn [name_u]Finn[/name_u] absolutely works, the letters and sounds are both there. It’s also fun and unexpected. I like it!

I think Fabes is cute, and it’s probably what I’d use. The only idea I thought of that hasn’t already been suggested is [name_m]Ben[/name_m], but it’s a bit of a stretch.

I would tend towards [name_m]Fabi[/name_m], but Fabes is very cute
