I am currently thinking that [name]Florence[/name] is the right name for our baby girl who is due in 11 weeks. I would like to control her nickname though, and I am liking [name]Fifi[/name]. Does it work? Can anyone else give me some cutsey, girly nicknames for [name]Florence[/name]?
I don’t like [name]Flo[/name] or [name]Florrie[/name] all that much.

[name]Florence[/name] is a lovely name. My favorite nickname for [name]Florence[/name] is [name]Flora[/name] (although I also like [name]Florrie[/name]). Other considerations: [name]Flo[/name], [name]Flossie[/name], [name]Ren[/name] or perhaps an alternative spelling, [name]Wren[/name]. Personally I’m not a huge fan of [name]Fifi[/name]. It seems a bit too cutesy for my taste, but it certainly could work as a nickname for [name]Florence[/name].
I think the reason I want cutsey is because we have 3 boys already and the house is so masculine and full of boys stuff that I want to make her as girly as possible. Of course she is probably going to be a total tomboy but, I can at least try

But I agree. For me [name]Flo[/name] is still an old lady name – and not a good at that. [name]Flossie[/name] is cute, but [name]Fifi[/name] is more unexpected and even cuter.
