Thanks for the ideas! [name_f]Leelee[/name_f] or [name_f]Deedee[/name_f] also (maybe) look like natural options now.

Lio
[name_f]Lia[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilla[/name_f]

Lydie could potentially be spelled Liddy.

Elle or [name_f]Ellie[/name_f].

Hi! [name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] and some nn I’ve had over the years include:
Lyd (personally my least favorite)
Lyds (not much better)
[name_f]Dia[/name_f] (I went by [name_f]Dia[/name_f] in college and is probably my favorite nickname)
Dylia (my younger sister got the L and D mixed up in my name and it stuck)
[name_f]Dilly[/name_f]/Dyllie or Dyll/Dill (shorten form of Dylia)
L or [name_f]Elle[/name_f] (it’s alright but it’s a name on its own)
[name_f]Lydie[/name_f] (this is a special nn reserved for my dad but definitely useable for other [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]’s)

I’ve also found that [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is a pretty easy name for people to just say without needing a nickname. Often times when I would introduce myself as [name_f]Dia[/name_f] and then people found out my full name was [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] they would go between the two often sticking with [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]. I like my name so I never minded. But also nicknames tend to develop once you learn more about your own kid.

You might want to consider [name_f]Lida[/name_f] (LEE-duh), traditional Russian nickname for [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]/Lidia.
