Nickname for Phoebe?

So our top choice for our upcoming baby girl was [name]Eliza[/name], nn [name]Ellie[/name], but one of our close friends just named her baby [name]Eliza[/name]

Now I am looking at alternatives and I do like the name [name]Phoebe[/name] (maybe [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Kate[/name])? The only problem I have with the name is that it sounds a little like ā€œfeebleā€ to me and hence I donā€™t really like the nn Feebs. Are there any other nicknames you can think of for [name]Phoebe[/name]? Or does it not need one?

Our son is named [name]Duncan[/name] and (so far) his main nickname is Pupsā€¦

[name]Bea[/name]?

I donā€™t think [name]Phoebe[/name] really needs a nickname, but I understand wanting to have options to shorten/endearā€¦other thoughts:
Pho (like noodle soup?)
Phee/[name]Fee[/name]
Ebby
[name]Puck[/name] or P.K. or some play on [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Kate[/name]'s initials, even something like Pix or [name]Pixie[/name] gets at the PK for me (and is rather sweet).

I really like the name [name]Phoebe[/name] and I think it goes perfectly with [name]Duncan[/name]. I agree it doesnā€™t really need a nickname but I love the suggestion of [name]Bea[/name].

[name]Pheobe[/name] [name]Kate[/name] is stunning!

As for nnā€¦I have two friends with the name [name]Pheobe[/name]. [name]One[/name] goes by the nn [name]Bea[/name] and the other goes by Pheobs.

[name]Bree[/name]

I share the above opinions that [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Kate[/name] is fantastic, [name]Phoebe[/name] doesnā€™t NEED a nn, but if you want one [name]Bea[/name] or [name]Pixie[/name] are adorable, and both the full name and nick name potential sounds great with big brother! [name]Kinda[/name] sounds like youā€™re on the right track

[name]One[/name] of My best Friends has a daughter named [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Christine[/name]. Everyone calls her [name]Bee[/name] or Bumble ( she is at that ageā€¦ she falls down a lot  But I always tell people not to stress about nnā€™s . If the name readily offers one, use it, if not you will come up with something. Nicknames that develop naturally often have great stories behind them and more meaning than the general nicknames that are just short for a longer name. My sister, [name]Grace[/name], is often referred to as [name]Lou[/name] or [name]Tilla[/name]. They are nicknames that just came up along the way!

As you know from your little ā€œPupsā€-- nicknames often arise organically. I thought I might call my son, [name]Antoine[/name], ā€œ[name]Ace[/name]ā€ before he was born-- but heā€™s ā€œTanty.ā€

[name]Phoebe[/name] is sunny and sweet and does not need a childhood nickname to lighten it. You received some wonderful suggestions above, in the form of [name]Pixie[/name] and [name]Bea[/name]. I also like [name]Pip[/name], [name]Bibi[/name], and [name]Flip[/name].

I love [name]Phoebe[/name]! [name]Bea[/name], [name]Bebe[/name] or [name]Fifi[/name] come to mind.

ā€˜Fiā€™.
Like fee.

This is also a nickname for [name]Fiona[/name].

I have a [name]Phoebe[/name] and love the name but there is no natural nn for it, one of the main reasons I chose it!
If you liked [name]Eliza[/name], what about [name]LIZA[/name]? I like this name so much better actually.
Another interesting name in the [name]Phoebe[/name] vein is the Irish [name]Fianna[/name] pronounced ā€œ[name]Fee[/name] - Naā€. [name]Love[/name] it! Then you could get the ā€œ[name]Fee[/name]ā€ sound too!

I love the nn [name]Bee[/name] for it

Is using still using [name]Eliza[/name] but as a middle an option? I know someone who has a little [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Eliza[/name]!

[name]Bebe[/name]
[name]Bea[/name]
[name]Bee[/name]
[name]Fifi[/name]
Bibby

Thatā€™s all I can think of right now!
