Rob, [name_m]Robb[/name_m], [name_u]Robbie[/name_u] are three of my favorites. I love [name_m]Beto[/name_m] and Betito too. [name_u]Robin[/name_u] as well. [name_m]Hobbes[/name_m]. [name_u]Robie[/name_u], [name_m]Robeson[/name_m].
My favorite on a grown man is [name_m]Rob[/name_m], but [name_u]Bobby[/name_u] is my favorite for a little kid.
Robert is at the top of my boys list too as it’s both my and my fiancé’s father’s names. His dad is [name_m]Rob[/name_m], so I don’t think ours would go by that as it could be confusing. [name_f]My[/name_f] dad passed last year and he was called [name_m]Bob[/name_m] (which I hate) and [name_u]Bobby[/name_u] when he was little.
Bobby is my top pick—it gives me [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] vibes—but I think my future son might be called [name_m]Bear[/name_m] which I got (kinda) from the [name_u]French[/name_u] pronunciation.
Other options are [name_u]Bert[/name_u]/Burt (I think of bees), [name_m]Hob[/name_m], Dob (might be too “house elf”), [name_u]Robin[/name_u], or Birdy (might be too feminine)
I like [name_u]Bobby[/name_u] best of those three, but [name_u]Robbie[/name_u] is also really cute! I also like [name_u]Robin[/name_u] or [name_u]Rory[/name_u] for [name_m]Robert[/name_m].
If the middle name or last name start with a J, or if he’s a “junior,” he could have the nn RJ (inspired by The Walking Dead - [name_m]Rick[/name_m] Grimes [name_m]Jr[/name_m] is RJ)
Edit - Not sure how I missed you saying the name is Robert Jack My apologies, RJ could definitely work then
