[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!
I love the name [name_u]Theo[/name_u], it’s one of my favourites! I’m not as crazy for [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] as the ending of it sounds very old fashioned. Which is not a bad thing, I like classic names but it can seem a little too older fashioned at times if you know what I mean! I’m a huge fan of nicknames and am just wanting to see if anyone has any ideas on a nickname for [name_u]Theo[/name_u] without already having to be names [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. I know it’s already a shortened diminutive, but I am really hoping that there will be some sort of nickname out there for the short and sweet name!
Not expecting just curious
Thanks!
With a name already so short I don’t think you really need a nickname, but you could use T. I quite like initial nicknames, depending on the initial(s). You could even use the middle name to create a nickname e.g. [name_u]Theo[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] -> TJ. I know a little [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] known as H which I think is really cute and different.

I like @floatinthesky’s idea of using initials–the suggestion of [name_u]Theo[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] nn TJ would be super sweet!

The first idea that popped into my head is “T”, and I love that!

Thank you everyone! I at first overlooked T but now I really love it! So simple and cute!
I agree with pp, T would be the best nickname for [name_u]Theo[/name_u]. Also maybe [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] or [name_m]Ted[/name_m].
[name_m]How[/name_m] about a longer version of [name_u]Theo[/name_u] like maybe Theodosius (means giving to God), [name_m]Theophilos[/name_m] (means loved by God), Theomedes, [name_m]Theodoros[/name_m]/Theodorus, or [name_m]Theobald[/name_m]. These are a bit unique to say the least so I understand if you just want to stick with [name_u]Theo[/name_u].
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps
