My husband and I are adopting a baby girl in a few weeks and have settled on a first name of [name]Violet[/name]. I know most of the time I will call her [name]Violet[/name] because I think it is so beautiful. But what would be a good nickname to use from time to time - or something she might want to use when she gets older? I am pretty much drawing a blank on this one, other than possibly [name]Vi[/name], or [name]Vivi[/name]…
I think [name]Lettie[/name] is also a very cute option… if you’re stretching it, you could probably use [name]Aya[/name] (or Vaya, although it’s a verb in Spanish), [name]Viola[/name], and I’ve even seen [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Lola[/name] as nns for [name]Violet[/name], although they don’t make a ton of sense to me.

I like [name]Lettie[/name] as a NN for [name]Violet[/name]! I have seen [name]Vi[/name] and [name]Viola[/name] before and they seem to work well. Another more unique NN could be “purple”, maybe something for the family to call her. It seems fun and quirky but maybe I am off base LOL!

I have a [name]Violet[/name], she’s 18 weeks old now We call her Lo and [name]Lottie[/name] for short. We had planned on calling her [name]Vivi[/name] (pn [name]Viv[/name]-ee) but it just didn’t work that way Good luck!
