Nickname for Vivienne Pearl (not Viv or Vivi)

Hi there! My daughter Vivienne Pearl was born seven months ago. I still adore her name, though at the moment it doesn’t quite suite her (it’s a quite adult name, I know) and I’m struggling with nicknames. Viv and Vivi while cute (and what we mostly call her) feel a bit too brief or incomplete.

We sometimes call her Vivi Pearl but as a true double name feels like too much. So I’m wondering, any creative nicknames you can think of? I read Vinnie as a nickname for Vivienne and it made me smile— but I wonder is it sort of ridiculous? What about Viva? Too grand? Help! Would love to know some thoughts or ideas. Thanks!

I think Vinnie works perfectly for Vivienne, and I really like it! Not ridiculous at all. Viva works well too.

Other ideas could be Vee or Evie.

I do like Evie, a lot. But feel like Eva/Ava (and their variants) are so common.

Viva is just right!
Other suggestions:
Vivia
Vena
Vina
Ennie
Viena

Viva & Vinnie are cute. WDYT of Ennie & Enna?

I sort of think Ennie is cool. But will people just always think we are saying Annie? I also really like the V sound in her name…

No new ideas, but I love Viva! Not too grand in the slightest, and a very logical nickname for Vivienne.

Vinnie is great too … Spunky and sweet, it reminds me of names like Billie and Frankie.

Maybe they will think Annie, but it’s just a nn.

It’s just a nn, but if you like the V sound, find one that incorporates that

Vinnie for Vivienne seems pretty perfect to me–not ridiculous at all! I’ve also met a little Vivienne “Evie,” although I know you mentioned that might be a bit popular for your liking. For a real stretch, maybe Nina?

Vinnie is CUTE!
Maybe also Yenni (vih-vee-yen).

Vinnie is very nice! And I like Viva too! The first nn that came to my mind was Ian, but I really like Vinnie!

I think Vinny feels like a natural nickname for Vivienne!

I’d also suggest just Vienne, short sweet and streamlined. And for some reason I’ve always felt Nina should be a nickname for Vivienne, though that might be too much of a stretch.

Perhaps… Vip  Kinda cute, like Pip :relaxed:

[name_f]My[/name_f] first thought was Vinnie! Not ridiculous at all.

I think [name_u]Vinnie[/name_u] could totally work

[name_f]Viva[/name_f] works well but may not be as cutesy as you’re looking for. Ennie and [name_f]Enna[/name_f] immediately came to mind as options and I think those would be really cute. I also think [name_f]Via[/name_f] could work!

I have a [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] who is 7 months as well!! I know what you mean, it’s such a mature name for a little baby but love it. I’m loving all these nick name suggestions. We call ours V and [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]

I love Vinnie! Very cute and I think it works. I also love the Ennie suggestions.

I have a Vivian, and my middle daughter just called her [name_u]Vinnie[/name_u] by accident :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: I honestly think it’s pretty cute.

[name_u]Vinnie[/name_u] is great, I love it and I also like [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] Pearl. How about Vienne? Vina? I also think [name_f]Vicki[/name_f] or [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] could work as a stretch.
