Nickname ideas

Hubby and I are four-five weeks away from welcoming this baby but are stuck with three names. I like all of them but there’s a slight hang up with one:[name_m]Forrester[/name_m]. My Hubby’s middle name is [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] so I think the name is great but we both would like a nickname for it. I came up with [name_m]Russ[/name_m] just because of the “[name_m]Russ[/name_m]” sound one can get when you quickly say [name_m]Forrester[/name_m]… not my best work but hey, I’m stuck. Any clever nicknames for [name_m]Forrester[/name_m]?

I quite like [name_m]Russ[/name_m].

The first that come to mind are [name_m]Rusty[/name_m] and Fozzi.

^^^ [name_m]Rusty[/name_m] and Fozzi are both super cute!!

[name_m]Fox[/name_m] seems like an obvious one to me.

[name_u]Frost[/name_u] is a great, logical suggestion. I would also second [name_m]Foster[/name_m]. [name_m]Forest[/name_m] obviously works too but I personally think it would be kind of silly to name someone [name_m]Forrester[/name_m] and call them [name_m]Forest[/name_m]/[name_m]Forrest[/name_m] as a nn instead of just naming them [name_m]Forest[/name_m]/[name_m]Forrest[/name_m] in the 1st place. [name_u]Frost[/name_u] definitely gets my vote but [name_m]Foster[/name_m] is great, too!

[name_m]Rush[/name_m], like the sound of the wind through leaves…

Idk… personally I don’t think every name needs a nick name. My daughter is [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f], and we call her… [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]. It wouldnt be the same to call her [name_f]Lori[/name_f], or [name_f]Laura[/name_f]… if you like [name_m]Forrester[/name_m], call him [name_m]Forrester[/name_m]… or [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] for short. Many of the suggested NN are just as long as [name_m]Forrest[/name_m]. My oldest is called “B” for short, so even “F” could work for informal NN?
Ps. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the name [name_m]Forrester[/name_m]! I think of a handsome man or adorable little preppy boy.

I love the suggestions of [name_m]Rusty[/name_m] and [name_u]Frost[/name_u]. [name_m]Russ[/name_m] is cool too.
