I love the name [name]Amelie[/name] and would probably call her that most of the time, but was wondering if anyone had any nickname suggestions. I just want a short cute name I could call her at home instead of using her full name all the time.

OR anything else! A nickname, especially one used at home, doesn’t have to necessarily stem from the name itself. Growing up my dad called me Cici (my name is [name]Lisa[/name]) and my sister Dobbie (her name is [name]Robin[/name]). My parents still call us that at home to this day!

my 2 year old daughter is called amelie and calls herself ami (ah-mee) as amelie’s too hard to say. i’ve started calling her this a lot too, its so cute!
