My husband likes the name [name]Anthony[/name], but I don’t like the nn [name]Tony[/name]. Are there any other nicknames out there?

Well my nephew’s name is [name]Anthony[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] and he goes by AJ so that’s an idea… My grandfather often went by “Tone”… Sorry that’s all I got!

I agree, [name]Anthony[/name] is nice, but [name]Tony[/name] not so much. My friend [name]Anthony[/name] (pron. [name]Antony[/name]… apparently that is common in the UK) goes by Ant a lot of the time. Not sure if that’s an appealing nn, though.

I know of a couple of Anthonys who go by Anth. I also like the suggestion of [name]Anton[/name].
