Nicknames for Beatrice..?

Any ideas that aren’t [name]Bea[/name] or [name]Trixie[/name] or something?

Maybe [name]Atty[/name]/[name]Atti[/name]? That’s the only other thing I could think of. Maybe [name]Rissa[/name]…

[name]Bette[/name], [name]Betty[/name], [name]Betsy[/name] would work. For [name]Bea[/name], there’s bee and bee-ah, I’m not sure which pronunciation you already thought of. You could also use Bitty or Bitsy or probably [name]Tibby[/name].

[name]Bea[/name]
[name]Tricia[/name]
[name]Abby[/name]
[name]Trixie[/name]

[name]How[/name] about CiCi?

I adore the name [name]Beatrice[/name] much for the nn potential of [name]Bea[/name]. I like Treecie too.

The Russian nickname for this is so pretty- it’s [name]Beata[/name]…it doesn’t look that nice written down but it’s said- [name]Bee[/name]-etta and I just love it! [name]Beatrice[/name] was thisclose to being my daughter’s name and if I ever have another I might use it and she would probably be [name]Beata[/name] most of the time.

I had a relative named [name]Beatrice[/name] who went by “beaty” pronounced like beady

[name]Betty[/name] came to mind right away.

A good friend of mine named [name]Beatrice[/name] goes by [name]Bibi[/name], pronounced bee-bee.

I like the [name]Bea[/name] nn said the Spanish way [name]Bay[/name]-uh. Pretty.

It makes me really nuts when people want to call their daughter [name]Bee[/name]-ah. My girlfriend and I call eachother Bia as in short for Biotch. Everyone I know gets it that Bia mean Biotch. Not nice for a little girl.

I think you may be able to use Triss(a) and [name]Tess[/name]. I love the [name]Tricia[/name] & [name]Bea[/name] nnms.

What about [name]Babe[/name]?

I think [name]Betty[/name] is so, so cute! [name]Betty[/name]!

I love [name]Birdie[/name] as a nn for [name]Beatrice[/name]. Other ideas-

[name]Bebe[/name]
[name]Bess[/name]
[name]Betsy[/name]
[name]Betty[/name]
Triss
[name]Bay[/name]

In french Béa is pronounced pretty much like “bee ah” http://www.forvo.com/search/bea/fr/ so it makes since to me. [name]Ive[/name] never heard of this being related to biotch…but no one I know says biotch

I think it makes a nice nn but I suppose you have to live in a place where it doesnt mean something bad.

What about [name]Betta[/name]?

Hmm the [name]Beatrice[/name] I know we either call [name]Beat[/name]-[name]Rice[/name] (which is funny but not very cute) or [name]Dorothy[/name] ([name]Bea[/name] [name]Arthur[/name]'s character)

Beezus is one I’ve always liked.

Beezus being the name of [name]Ramona[/name]'s older sister, [name]Beatrice[/name], in the novels written by [name]Beverly[/name] [name]Cleary[/name], specifically ‘Beezus and [name]Ramona[/name]’ written in 1955. Beezus was also portrayed by [name]Selena[/name] Gomez on the Big-Screen in the 2010 film called ‘[name]Ramona[/name] and Beezus’.

[name]Tris[/name] has got to be my favorite. It’s the nickname for [name]Beatrice[/name] [name]Prior[/name], main character of the Divergent Trilogy, so that’s a plus for me.
