[name]Elliot[/name] is definitely leading the pack for our second boy. I would love your insight on nicknames for [name]Elliot[/name]. I’m not a huge [name]Eli[/name] fan (also, we have an [name]Oliver[/name], nn [name]Ollie[/name]). I’ve thought of [name]Ellis[/name] and [name]Leo[/name]. Any other ideas? Does anyone have an [name]Elliot[/name]? Thank you so much!
I don’t think [name]Elliot[/name] is a name that lends itself to a nickname. I have a cousin named [name]Elliot[/name], as well as a co-worker, and neither of them is ever called anything but [name]Elliot[/name].
My first thoughte were [name]Eli[/name] or [name]Leo[/name]… I guess you would do [name]Lee[/name] (Li) as well! Or use initials depending on what the MN would be.
i.e [name]Elliot[/name] [name]James[/name] … EJ
I can’t really think of anything else that hasn’t really been mentioned. I think [name]Leo[/name] and EJ would be cute, though!
My son’s name is [name]Elliott[/name] [name]James[/name]. We just call him [name]Elliott[/name] most of the time. We do shorten it to [name]Ellie[/name] sometimes, but I don’t see that sticking once he’s older. My dad likes to call him E-jo (our last name starts with ‘O’), which I’m not crazy about, but it doesn’t really bother me. We thought we would call him [name]Eli[/name], but it’s never felt right. I don’t think [name]Elliott[/name] needs to be shortened, It’s just fine on it’s own.
My son’s name is [name]Elliott[/name] [name]Paul[/name]. Usually we just call him [name]Elliott[/name] but sometimes we’ll shorten it to just L
