Nicknames for Fortuna

Hey guys!! I have yet another story idea and yet another potential main character. This one has existed for a bit, but I recently came across the name Fortuna and I think it works really well. Trouble is, I don’t really want other characters to call her that the whole book, so I’m looking for a nickname, any nickname, that could be derived from the name. She’s an aerialist and little sister to the leader of the most prominent and mysterious circus institution in a fantasy world inspired by the Italian Renaissance (makes perfect sense, I know lol). Her brother’s name is Teodoro, called Teo, and I think her surname may end up being something like Sandrini. All very Italian sounding.

Thanks in advance, and I hope you have a great day!!

Maybe Fora or Nana? Or, from the meaning of Fortuna, Lucky?

When my sister was younger, she told everyone she had a daughter named [name_u]Tuna[/name_u], but I’m going to assume that you don’t want to name your character after a fish lol (despite how delicious said fish is). Seconding [name_f]Fia[/name_f], as well as [name_f]Nina[/name_f]! (One of her other children was either Frog or Frog Jump, the big boy [her words], but I don’t think you want a character named Frog Jump either…)

[name_u]Tuna[/name_u] is tonnato in Italian, so they wouldn’t be similar at all.

[name_f]Fortunata[/name_f] is what I’ve heard used. But if she’d been a loud or musical baby, she could be [name_m]Forte[/name_m]? LOL.

What about Tif? It’s switching the F and the T around, but still keeping the vibe of [name_f]Fortuna[/name_f]. Also, [name_m]Teo[/name_m] and Tif?

[name_f]Nina[/name_f] would be the natural nicknames here in [name_f]Italy[/name_f], especially in the Renaissance I think. Forti would also work as is sort of naturally coming.

Other suggestions:

[name_f]Fia[/name_f]
[name_f]Tina[/name_f]
[name_u]Nana[/name_u]

[name_f]My[/name_f] first thought was [name_u]Lucky[/name_u], which I know I stole from the Netflix [name_f]Spirit[/name_f] tv show. [name_f]My[/name_f] second idea is [name_f]Effie[/name_f]!
