I’m looking for nicknames for the name Heather. I wonder if Hadley or Erica could potentially be nicknames considering they both mean “heather.”

I think Erica’s pretty far removed from [name_f]Heather[/name_f] tbh, but I think [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] could maybe work

I have heard of Heddy/Hedy as a nickname for [name_f]Heather[/name_f]. Maybe [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] or [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] would work? Maybe something flower related like [name_f]Petal[/name_f]?
A different way could be incorporating the middle name - eg [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f], or using intials eg HG.
Perhaps [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] could work as it shares the H but it isn’t super intuitive. I don’t think [name_f]Erica[/name_f] would work as it shares no sounds and is longer than [name_f]Heather[/name_f] syllable-wise.

i think [name_f]Etta[/name_f] or [name_f]Ettie[/name_f] work. [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] could possibly work, but it feels like a very different name.
[name_f]Thea[/name_f], [name_f]Tea[/name_f], Tee or [name_f]Hera[/name_f] could work too.

I could see [name_f]Heaven[/name_f] but really a nickname can be anything. Like [name_f]Heather[/name_f] [name_f]Feather[/name_f] [name_u]Raven[/name_u] etc
