Nicknames for Jude?

Thanks everyone.
I’m not a fan of [name_m]Judah[/name_m], just plain [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and I’m really comfortable using it by itself. I just know how fond my family are of pet names and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas that flow from [name_u]Jude[/name_u] for them, so I’d know what to expect when everyone starts hitting the baby up with pet names.
I’m kind of glad it doesn’t have any set nicknames to follow, it means we’ll be able to stick with the name we love, or have something eventuate that suits our little guy’s personality.

You could think about using a nickname from his middle name particularly if what you’re looking for is a cutesy pet name only to be used occasional within the family or more not to be used formall like at school. For example- [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] or [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m], nn [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] or [name_m]Bear[/name_m] would be cute. Or for the same purpose you could even call him something like J-bear or J-tot no matter what the rest of his name is. These kind of nicknames tend to come naturally (particularly if you’re nicknamey people) so I wouldn’t panic too much. If you love [name_u]Jude[/name_u] I’m sure a pet name will develop from somewhere fairly early on.

This is esactly what I meant - a cutesy pet name more than a use all the time nickname. Our eldest daughter is [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] to her grandparents, we have a [name_f]Lila[/name_f] who is sometimes [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] and [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_m]Bear[/name_m]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] some fun
