Nicknames for Julia

As my due date is fast approaching (11/30) My husband and I really love the name [name_f]Julia[/name_f]. However, We really dislike the nicknames [name_u]Jules[/name_u] and juju. What are some create nicknames we can use? Thanks.

Great suggestions by the previous posters. [name_u]Jay[/name_u] is another one that works for pretty much any J name. You could also look to the middle name—e.g., [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Esther[/name_f] could be [name_u]Jess[/name_u]; [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] could be JJ…

You really don’t need a nickname for [name_f]Julia[/name_f]. It’s stunning in it’s simplicity. However, you might find that the nickname emerges after the baby is born and it will be the right one!
