Nicknames for Juliette

I love [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]. It’s a variant of my mom’s name (and let’s say the only family name on my list) so I really want to use it someday. But, I can’t find any nicknames I love. I think [name_u]Jules[/name_u] is cute, but I’m not sure about it. I also dislike [name_f]Etta[/name_f], etc. So, any ideas?

[name_u]Jules[/name_u] & [name_f]Etta[/name_f] are lovely, my favorite is [name_m]Jett/name_m or [name_f]Jetta[/name_f].

My mother almost named me [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] and said that my nickname would be [name_u]Jules[/name_u]. I know the names on my list are probably all repeats but here is my list of nicknames for [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]:

I’m a simple gal and prefer [name_u]Julie[/name_u] as a nickname and full name. I’m not a fan of the name [name_f]Juliette[/name_f].

I like [name_u]Jet[/name_u] a lot. I also like Juju (which is pretty cutesy, and I probably wouldn’t use it after she started school, but I still think it’s adorable), [name_f]Lettie[/name_f], and even Liet. I don’t know why it appeals to me so much, but I think it’s just lovely. [name_f]Etta[/name_f] is nice, too, but I don’t like it near so much as the more popular [name_f]Ella[/name_f] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f].

ETA: I think [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] is adorable, too, but more of a stretch. If I had a [name_f]Julia[/name_f] or [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], though, I’m sure she’d get [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] at some point. :slight_smile:

I like [name_f]Lettie[/name_f], [name_u]Lee[/name_u] and Juju the most (Can I use [name_f]Zuzu[/name_f] too? More stretch, I know) :slight_smile: I love the not-so-obvious nicknames, but I’m afraid it’ll be too much of a stretch. Has anyone actually ever heard a [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]/[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] called [name_f]Lilou[/name_f] or [name_f]Jewel[/name_f]?

I’ve heard of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]/tes called ‘Jul’ for short, which has the same pronounciation as ‘[name_f]Jewel[/name_f]’ in my accent.

[name_f]Jewel[/name_f] or [name_u]Jules[/name_u]. I don’t know how you people will assume [name_f]Etta[/name_f] etc unless you make an effort to introduce that way or keep correcting people. [name_u]Julie[/name_u] is too plain a nickname for such a pretty full name.
