…other than Pipin or [name_u]Perry[/name_u]. It’s my top choice for a boy and I want to know all my options, but can’t think of anything else. Any idea, berries?
[name_m]Reg[/name_m]/[name_u]Reggie[/name_u], [name_m]Penn[/name_m], Grin?
Seconding [name_m]Penn[/name_m] and Grin. There’s also Pier/[name_m]Piers[/name_m]/[name_m]Piero[/name_m], Pegin, Pepin, [name_u]Regin[/name_u], Peppo, [name_u]Percy[/name_u], Pelly, [name_u]Perrin[/name_u], Grim, or [name_m]Pim[/name_m]. Maybe [name_u]Falcon[/name_u] or [name_m]Hawk[/name_m] on a stretch?
[name_u]Falcon[/name_u] and [name_m]Hawk[/name_m]? Haha I never thought about those before, those seem cool. I like [name_m]Penn[/name_m] and [name_m]Piero[/name_m], but not sure I love them. sigh I adore everything about [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] except its possible nicknames. Pippin is really cute for a little guy but I have a hard time imagining it on a grown up man. Thanks berries.
Could he be [name_m]Pippin[/name_m]/Pipin when little and then [name_m]Pip[/name_m] when grown up? I think [name_m]Pip[/name_m] would work fine on a grown man.
Yeah, I plan on using [name_m]Pippin[/name_m] when little, possibly [name_u]Perry[/name_u] when older but it doesn’t seem like the most natural transition. Maybe I’d have just use a few different nicknames instead. I’d think about [name_m]Pip[/name_m], thanks @katinka.
I don’t think I can come up with many additional options, but maybe [name_u]Gray[/name_u]? Has [name_u]Poe[/name_u] been mentioned? Panda? Pear?
[name_m]Penn[/name_m] and [name_m]Pippin[/name_m] are the ones I would choose. With [name_u]James[/name_u] in the middle I think you could use PJ as well, even with [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] between them. PJ is the coolest of all the initial names. ^^
I am not a nickname person. I just like to call the person by their name. 3 syllables isn’t too many.
[name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u], from your signature, is absolutely gorgeous!
I love [name_m]Pippin[/name_m]/[name_m]Pip[/name_m] on a little guy, but I agree that it doesn’t necessarily have the most ‘grown-up’ of vibes and maybe he would want something more professional sounding when he’s older. I also agree with @abertawe though, that I do like to call most people by their full name lots of times so I think [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] as a whole is fine and maybe when he’s older he won’t even want to have a nickname.
Also, I absolutely love the suggestions of [name_u]Gray[/name_u] and [name_m]Penn[/name_m]! I had never considered them but they seem to work fine for [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m].
[name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] is my #1 GP name, I simply love how it sounds. [name_u]Perry[/name_u] is probably my favorite nickname, but [name_m]Pippin[/name_m] is kinda cute for a toddler. I’ve never thought of [name_u]Gray[/name_u], but it’s fantastic! (also because [name_m]Greyson[/name_m] is currently on my top 10). [name_m]Penn[/name_m] is a pretty good choice too.
Popping in to add Riggs, Wren, Eero, and Eren {Aaron?}
