Hello! I am 8 weeks pregnant and we feel so strongly already that this baby is a boy. Our top boy name right now is Roland Kenton. We enjoy nicknames, both naturally derived and silly family given ones (daughter is Elinor nn Ellie, Mighty Mouse).
For Roland I’m not coming up with too many that i like.
Ro/Ro-Ro
Roo (which i love but we also call our car Roo lol)
Roli (prn either Role-ee or Rawl-ee)
Andy (eh)
Rudy (which i kinda like)
Are there nn possibilities im missing with Roland?

my favorite is rolo (or rollo), pronounced row-low! i think it’s very intuitive from roland, but also fresh and unexpected. i think ellie & rolo sound amazing together! i also think that you could easily get away with rocky if you use kenton as the middle (or any other name beginning with a hard k/c sound).

We have a Roland!!! He’s 4. He goes almost exclusively by Rollie, pronounced Rah-lee/raw-lee depending on your accent lol.
I call him Rollo (row-low) and Ro sometimes too!
I will say people were very confused at first at our pronunciation of Rollie. They always wanted to call him Roly (row-lee), which at the time i absolutely hated but now I actually think is precious. Might have just been post partum hormones lol.

I like [name_f]Ro[/name_f] and Ro-Ro! That would be my go-to nickname! I’m not too sold on [name_u]Andy[/name_u], as I would think of an [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] more than a [name_m]Roland[/name_m]. The only other that came to mind was [name_m]Rolo[/name_m]!
