My husband and I both like the name [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], but haven’t found a nickname yet that we are happy with. I’ve seen the usuals - [name_m]Seb[/name_m], Bass, [name_m]Bastian[/name_m]… - but am wondering if anyone has heard any other, less common nicknames. This could possibly be The Name…if only we can find a nickname we love!

[name_m]Baz[/name_m] is the only one other one I’ve heard of.
I know one who goes by Sea Bass. lol. Try [name_m]Baz[/name_m], as the pp suggested, or maybe [name_f]Sian[/name_f] or Sab. My favorite, though, is Bash.

My hands-down favorite is Bash. I think it’s a fabulous nickname for [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m].
I’ve always love the nickname [name_f]Basha[/name_f] for [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. It might be seen as feminine, but I think it’d be a very sweet nickname for a young [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m].

I have to say, my husband loves Bash.
Not to ruin anyone’s love of the name, but I’d like to know if I’m weird for thinking this…I either think of “bashful” or I think of the verb ‘to bash’ and feel like it’s similar to naming him BamBam.
