Hello! I’ve been examining a set of names for nicknames for a little while now, and I need your help with these ones. When you look at the names, certain nicknames are evident and appear to be the obvious choice. I like it when a name has a variety of nicknames so I just wanted to know if you could find any more nicknames in the following names: [name_f]Lisette[/name_f], Lilette and [name_f]Stefania[/name_f]. [name_f]Lizzie[/name_f] or [name_u]Lisa[/name_u] for [name_f]Lisette[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f] or [name_f]Lila[/name_f] for Lilette and Steffy for [name_f]Stefania[/name_f] would mostly likely be amongst the first nicknames when you look at the name. I started this thread in case anyone has any more ideas for them. If you do please leave them here.
For [name_f]Lisette[/name_f], I think any of the usual [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] nicknames would work, including Lissy/[name_f]Lizzy[/name_f]/[name_f]Liz[/name_f]/[name_f]Etta[/name_f], etc.
I almost named a character [name_f]Lisette[/name_f] nn [name_u]Issy[/name_u] a while back–I wouldn’t use [name_u]Lisa[/name_u], because it seems dated to me, but I do like just [name_f]Lise[/name_f], and [name_f]Etta[/name_f], and [name_f]Lizzie[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Lily[/name_f] or [name_f]Lila[/name_f] would be cute for [name_f]Lisette[/name_f], too, although a bit of a stretch.
Lilette I’m not very familiar with, but [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] make sense, plus [name_f]Etta[/name_f] or [name_f]Lettie[/name_f].
[name_f]Stefania[/name_f] - my first thoughts are [name_f]Anya[/name_f]/[name_f]Annie[/name_f] or [name_u]Stevie[/name_u] (I think [name_u]Stevie[/name_u] for a girl is pretty cute, but it’s probably because my sister also loves it and she’s made me appreciate it). Or even [name_f]Evie[/name_f], based on [name_u]Stevie[/name_u]. I love [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. I also like the suggestions of [name_f]Nina[/name_f] or [name_f]Nia[/name_f] for [name_f]Stefania[/name_f], and would love simple [name_f]Anna[/name_f] for it, too.
