Nicknames for timothy

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all, came across timothy, and yes nn [name_m]Tim[/name_m]. But, like how [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] has [name_u]Tony[/name_u] in addition to Ant as nn, does timothy have any obvious nn besides tim/ [name_m]Timmy[/name_m] ?? Lol

I can only think of maybe [name_u]Theo[/name_u]??

I like the name as a whole, [name_m]Tim[/name_m] is ok as a n… [name_m]Just[/name_m] didn’t know if you guys had any other ideas or suggestions

This is a tiny bit of a stretch, but I think [name_m]Monty[/name_m] could work. I also think [name_u]Theo[/name_u] is a stretch, but could work. The main issue with [name_u]Theo[/name_u] is that it’s very recognized as a name. So I’d be worried that people would think his name is actually [name_u]Theo[/name_u].

I really like [name_m]Timo[/name_m] for [name_m]Timothy[/name_m]

[name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_u]Mo[/name_u] could work as well

Yeah both are stretch lol and everyone so used to the common / popular nick names for all names also…

One time I saw a post saying that a [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] they knew went by nn [name_f]Jami[/name_f]… odd but totally makes sense…

( now I’m always trying to think hard on doable alternative Nn but not that are too awkward/ absurd lol…)

monty is probably closer, good call…

[name_m]Timo[/name_m] is good call too, and [name_u]Mo[/name_u] is cool nn for sure… [name_m]Timo[/name_m] kinda reminds me of lion king and [name_m]Timon[/name_m] lol

( my son is [name_m]Robert[/name_m] and my dad has always called him [name_m]Rob[/name_m]'o… Lol that’s kinda how I got the [name_u]Theo[/name_u] idea too…)
