Haha right now I am only 4 weeks, and at the ultrasound the tech was like look at your lil dot! Since that is all that you can see right now. So I have being sawing My [name]Dot[/name]/[name]Dottie[/name] lol
We call the baby Bean, since we don’t know the gender. [name]Oliver[/name] was [name]Lil[/name]’ [name]Man[/name], [name]Henry[/name] was [name]Little[/name] Mister, and [name]Emilia[/name] was [name]Little[/name] Lady. The boys also called her [name]Princess[/name]. It was so funny to constantly hear, “Mommy! When’s the [name]Princess[/name] gonna be here?”. She does rule those boys. Since we are waiting until the birth, we just call the baby “Bean”. “[name]Baby[/name] Bean” as well. My husband says “Beano, my man!”. So, yeah, I think we have a clear idea of what he wants. Personally, I don’t care, but it would be nice to have an even gender ratio of 3:3 (Mom, [name]Emilia[/name], baby vs. Dad, [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Henry[/name]). I don’t mind though, I love my boys!
I have to say and our first daughter was nicknamed Oh no, thankfully that was a private joke with my hubby and I.
Our second got away alot better and was Grape for the most part.
Hmmm…[name]New[/name] name…[name]Henry[/name] was contemplating the baby’s name earlier told me it should be GirlBoy. So, just imagine that being said in three sweet child voices to my stomach, “[name]Hi[/name] there, GirlBoy!”. It’s a little weird. Whatever!
My husband said BoyGirl. He is CONVINCED. I’m pretty convinced it’s not.

Aside from “baby” or “little girl”, my other half has taken to calling her [name]Berry[/name]/[name]Holly[/name] [name]Berry[/name], as my surname sounds similar to “holly”, which I think is very cute Part of what drew me to Nameberry, in fact!
Our baby’s nickname is just [name]Baby[/name] or [name]Little[/name] [name]Baby[/name]. I love it. Clear, simple, and to the point :). We refer to her as wildkitten sometimes (wildcat is a inside joke nickname of mine) but it’s not really her nickname, we just use it as a joke because she is so active and does silly things in the womb. I was never really a fan of nicknaming a fetus. I don’t know why, it just seemed weird to me lol.
Let’s see; ‘my Offspring’, ‘my Progeny’, ‘Demon Spawn’ [which is ironic given she’s a little angel.], ‘[name]Little[/name] [name]One[/name]’, ‘[name]Little[/name] [name]Love[/name]’.
I called my oldest “Monkey” because she was ALWAYS moving around! Her name is [name]Maya[/name], and we sometimes call her Monkey [name]Maya[/name]. I called my youngest “[name]Cricket[/name]” because she was such a sweet little baby, and just seemed so happy all the time. We call her [name]Cricket[/name] now too. Our nicknames just kind of stuck!
#1 was Sweetheart
#2 & #3 (twins) were The Babes, my husband has always called me [name]Babe[/name] and started calling the twins The Babes.
#4 was [name]Little[/name] [name]Babe[/name]
#5 was Peanut
When I was pregnant, we usually referred to our son as [name]Baby[/name] V______. Also now and again we called him “Our little Parasite” but only in private as a joke.
We called [name]Amelie[/name] “little boo” when she was in the womb. [name]Minnie[/name] was another nickname regularly used for her, because at our first ultrasound, she was this mini little dot on the screen. She’s 4 now and we still call her both quite often.
We’ve been calling this baby Squishy, no particular reason why but I can see it sticking when she’s born.
We’ve been calling ours “Flipper” since the first ultrasound, since s/he was moving around a LOT. Was moving even more at the second ultrasound. I still can’t feel the baby kick, but if ultrasounds are any indication, this kid likes to move!
We say “[name]Baby[/name] X”
For a few reasons, X as in unnamed, unknown
and we are hoping for a boy and his name starts with an X, so its a little wishful thinking as well
Squishy, from Finding [name]Nemo[/name], where [name]Dory[/name] ‘adopts’ a jellyfish, calls it Squishy and says “I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.”
We call it ‘The Fetus.’ No cute names here - with experiences in pregnancy loss, we don’t get too cutesy or giddy about it.
We call the twins ‘[name]Bean[/name] & Beanier’ ahah.
[name]Arlo[/name] got called [name]Lion[/name] Cub because he kicked the first time when we were watching The [name]Lion[/name] [name]King[/name] with my nephews. We still call him that now, and it’s actually fascinating because he LOVES The [name]Lion[/name] [name]King[/name] now, he makes us watch it nearly every day…
My 3 were Nugget, Peanut and Niblet. This one will be Pudding as he/she was conceived around [name]Christmas[/name] time, but we don’t really refer to the baby outloud as the kids don’t know about it yet.
My parents had flower nicknames for all three of us even though they didn’t know we were all girls. My oldest sister, [name]Eilish[/name] was [name]Daisy[/name] my other sister, [name]Kerry[/name] was [name]Rosemary[/name] and I was [name]Poppy[/name] which is was my dad calls me now sometimes. My twins were Thing 1 and Thing 2 and my youngest was Peanut.
We call “[name]Emmett[/name]” one of 2 names “Mett” when we aren’t around family (they are finding out when we have him) or Peanut.
I don’t remember what we called our first, but this second one I’ve been calling The [name]New[/name] [name]Guy[/name]. We haven’t decided on a name but even when we do, I don’t want to share it until its official. I really wanted to call our first guy [name]Reuben[/name] until my dad insisted that you couldn’t name your child after a sandwich. I’m happy with his name ([name]Julian[/name]), but still. I might want to call the new guy [name]Graham[/name] and I don’t want to hear anything about crackers!
