Does [name]Vera[/name] have a nn?
[name]How[/name] about:
[name]Vi[/name]
[name]Vivi[/name]
[name]Rae[/name]
But does [name]Vera[/name] really need a nn?
Not in my opinion.
V and [name]Vivi[/name] are both plausible but stretches to me.
[name]Vera[/name]'s kind of short on it’s own. It doesn’t really need a nn.
To me, [name]Vera[/name] is a nickname.
I agree, why does [name]Vera[/name] need a nickname? I just don’t get nicknames…
[name]Vera[/name] already seems short and sweet. Considering a longer name that includes [name]Vera[/name] might be an option if you are interested in more nickname choices. You could use [name]Vera[/name] as a nn for all of these. Examples:
[name]Minerva[/name] ([name]Minie[/name]/[name]Vera[/name])
[name]Genevera[/name]/[name]Genevieve[/name] ([name]Gena[/name]/[name]Vera[/name]/[name]Viva[/name]/[name]Vivi[/name])
[name]Elvera[/name] ([name]Elva[/name]/Elvi/[name]Vera[/name])
Good luck. I personally prefer long names with cute nickname choices. I understand wanting to have a sweet nickname for a little one in addition to the more sophisticated legal name.
