Suggestions on a nickname for [name_m]Harold[/name_m]?
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] is the obvious choice, but I’m not in love with it.
DH doesn’t like [name_m]Hal[/name_m].
[name_m]Hank[/name_m] and [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] are both kind of stretches & DH hates [name_u]Ollie[/name_u].
I like [name_m]Hank[/name_m] the best.
OR,
Should we just use [name_m]Harold[/name_m]? It’s a family name, of someone who is still alive & will be around the child often so we worry about confusion.
In the [name_m]Harold[/name_m] and [name_m]Kumar[/name_m] movies, [name_m]Kumar[/name_m] calls [name_m]Harold[/name_m], Roldy. I think its cute despite the connection to the movie. Maybe Roly Poly? Or [name_u]Harley[/name_u]?
[name_m]Rollo[/name_m] could also work! It’s a nickname for [name_m]Roland[/name_m] originally, but I could really see it for [name_m]Harold[/name_m] as well ^^
It’s even more of a stretch, but you could probably get away with [name_u]Ari[/name_u] as well. Or [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]? But at that point it would probably be best to just go with [name_m]Harold[/name_m] since [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] doesn’t seem very nickname-y.
I think you could get away with a lot of stretches if it’s to separate the two living Harolds.
