[name_m]How[/name_m] are you pronouncing [name_f]Ines[/name_f]? If it’s ee-NESS, then I vote for [name_f]Ines[/name_f], but if it’s eye-NEZ then I prefer [name_u]Nico[/name_u].
I voted for [name_f]Ines[/name_f], [name_u]Nico[/name_u] is too masculuine for my taste.
Lumen –*I would pronounce it ee-NEHZ. So with a ‘z’ sound at the end, but definitely not a long ‘i’ sound at the beginning, as I don’t like the eye-NEZ pronunciation either.
I voted for [name_f]Ines[/name_f] because I would definitely think a [name_u]Nico[/name_u] was a little boy.
I agree that [name_u]Nico[/name_u] hits me as a boy’s name.
[name_f]Ines[/name_f], definitely. [name_u]Nico[/name_u] is all boy to me.
I like [name_f]Ines[/name_f] better. Lots of people keep saying [name_u]Nico[/name_u] is masculine. What about [name_m]Neco[/name_m], like [name_m]Neco[/name_m] [name_m]Case[/name_m]?
My vote is 100% determined by the fact that my cousin [name_f]Eugenie[/name_f] actually gave birth to a son named [name_u]Nico[/name_u]!
Wow –*that’s amazing! Your family clearly has good taste in names.
[name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_f]Eugenie[/name_f] is a gorgeous combo indeed. A lovely choice.
While [name_u]Nico[/name_u] is automatically associated with a boy, I think it could work for a girl, though I do prefer [name_f]Ines[/name_f], which is just so beautifully light and whimsical.
