I would love to call a daughter [name_f]Annie[/name_f], but would want to give her a more formal/grown up given name. I love the sound of [name_f]Annalise[/name_f], but our last name sounds like geese.
What are some great names that would give me [name_f]Annie[/name_f] as a nickname? Our first daughter is named [name_f]Elena[/name_f].
At a stretch:
[name_f]Melisande[/name_f]
[name_f]Morgana[/name_f]
[name_f]Milana[/name_f]
Or a double first name like [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f], [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f], [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f], etc.
Obviously pretty much anything that ends in -ann can end in -anna. Or you could do a double fn such as [name_f]Anne[/name_f]-[name_f]Marie[/name_f] or [name_f]Anna[/name_f]-[name_f]Beth[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-[name_f]Ann[/name_f], etc.
We were in exactly the same spot! Started by knowing she would be [name_f]Annie[/name_f] but wanted to give her a more formal name. We ultimately decided to name her [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] and call her [name_f]Annie[/name_f].
I suggest [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]! The name is classy, old-fashioned, and gorgeous. Obviously the nickname [name_f]Annie[/name_f] would work perfectly! [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Elena[/name_f] sound great together, especially if you call [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] - then you would have [name_f]Annie[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] I helped.
