Came across [name_m]Gulliver[/name_m] on the Literary Names list and was wondering what nicknames would work for it?
Umm… Maybe [name_u]Gull[/name_u] or Gully? Although I can definitely see that getting turned into Gullible. I honestly wouldn’t have a nickname for [name_m]Gulliver[/name_m]- it is a great name (except for the meaning and the similarity to gullible), but it is made up of [name_u]Gull[/name_u] and Liver, neither of which are super appealing. Sorry, that probably didn’t help at all- maybe someone else will have a better idea?
[name_u]Gus[/name_u] should work.
I know a [name_m]Gulliver[/name_m], he goes by [name_u]Gull[/name_u].
I thought about [name_u]Gull[/name_u] or Gully but I wasn’t sure it would really work on an adult or sound professional. I like [name_u]Gus[/name_u], but I worry it’s to much of a stretch…
I do like Gully because it reminds me of [name_f]Fern[/name_f] Gully but I think [name_m]Guy[/name_m] would also work, or maybe even “Guv.”
