Could it work??
[name_m]Just[/name_m] found out we’re officially having a little girl! [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] has always been a favorite, but I don’t love the popularity of the assumed nicknames “[name_f]Emme[/name_f]” or “[name_f]Millie[/name_f].”
What other great options can you think of? Is [name_f]Indy[/name_f] or Inde too far of a stretch?
Also looking for other name options in general that are similar in style.
I feel like [name_f]Indy[/name_f] for [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] doesn’t make any sense at all…?
But I pronounce it with the ‘line’ ending; do you use the ‘lyn’ ending? I suppose that’s where you would get the ‘in’ sound from…
FWIW, I think you’ll find [name_f]Indy[/name_f] quite popular as well. Almost on par with [name_f]Emme[/name_f] and [name_f]Millie[/name_f], I’d say.
Other options could be:
[name_f]Mila[/name_f], [name_f]Lindy[/name_f], [name_f]Lina[/name_f]
I knew [name_f]Indy[/name_f] was probably reaching! Was just trying to think out of the box. I pronounce it with the “line” ending.
It makes no sense at all. [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], [name_f]Emily[/name_f], [name_f]Em[/name_f], [name_u]Mel[/name_u], Melie, [name_u]Mel[/name_u], [name_f]Molly[/name_f].
Yeah I have to agree that it makes no sense at all. Sorry!
What about [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] nn [name_f]Indy[/name_f]? I think this would be a great option for you!
