I knew a [name]Lawrence[/name] NN [name]Lonny[/name], pronounced like [name]Donny[/name] with an L instead of a D. There is also [name]Law[/name], [name]Lawry[/name], [name]Lorne[/name], [name]Loren[/name], maybe [name]Lance[/name] would work also.

I have heard the nn [name]Lolo[/name] for a [name]Laurence[/name] (girls name but pretty much the same) but Im not sure how that sounds to english speakers, in france it’s common for [name]Laure[/name], [name]Laurent[/name], etc…I think its kind of cute!

I went to school with someone named [name]Lawrence[/name] who went by Renzie when we were young–he switched to the full name sometime in [name]Junior[/name] High, I think.
