Noa for a girl?

Thoughts on [name_u]Noa[/name_u] for a girl? I think I prefer as a nickname. Any ideas as full name for a girl to get nickname [name_u]Noa[/name_u]. I was thinking [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] but is that odd since no a in [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]? Any other ideas?

noa is so sweet for a girl! i like it by itself but itā€™s fun as a nn too, maybe forā€¦

noela / noelia
noemi / noemia
nora
nova
november

i think it works perfectly well for noelle too, the ā€˜aā€™ thing doesnā€™t bother me :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I know 2 Noas and theyā€™re both girls so it definitely works! I do prefer it on its own, but I think it works as a nn for [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]. Maybe [name_f]Ainoa[/name_f], [name_f]Eleonora[/name_f], Annora/Honora, [name_f]Anona[/name_f] or [name_f]Winona[/name_f]?

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Noa[/name_u]!
Hmm I canā€™t think of a good name that gets you [name_u]Noa[/name_u] as a nickname

I think itā€™s fine as a girl name.

For a full name: [name_u]Kainoa[/name_u], [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f], [name_f]Enola[/name_f], [name_f]Finola[/name_f] or [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]?

For me personally I wouldnā€™t use it on a girl.

I like [name_u]Noa[/name_u] for a nn but it is definitely very trendy where I am. If not on its own, I might use it for:

Eleanor/Eleanora/Leonor/Leonora name or maybe [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] or similar?

[name_u]Noa[/name_u] is cute and fresh!

I think [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] could work (like [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] for [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f] for [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Greta[/name_f] for Margaret). Thereā€™s also [name_f]Noelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Noella[/name_f]?

Some other ideas for [name_u]Noa[/name_u]:

[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]
[name_f]Noemi[/name_f] / [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
[name_f]Winona[/name_f]
[name_f]Antonia[/name_f]
[name_f]Enola[/name_f]
[name_u]Nicola[/name_u]

I like it, I think it is very sweet. I like it as a standalone, but it could be a funky nickname for [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] or [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] something more feminine. :ballet_shoes:šŸ«¶šŸ» :ribbon:

[name_u]Noa[/name_u] is an Israeli girls name. Sheā€™s popular within my community. [name_u]Noa[/name_u] is beautiful, feels fashionable, strong and has an overall tranquil vibe. [name_u]Noa[/name_u] isnā€™t traditionally used as a nickname and therefore of course works as a name in her own right.

Youā€™ve had lots of lovely ideas as full names for using [name_u]Noa[/name_u] as a nickname. I wanted to put forward [name_f]Noelani[/name_f] as an idea!

I like [name_u]Noa[/name_u]! Actually for me [name_u]Noa[/name_u] is feminine and [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is masculine :sparkles: Wasnā€™t [name_u]Noa[/name_u] Israeli and Japanese? It has a beautiful meaning in both cultures.

Iā€™d definitely assume a [name_u]Noa[/name_u] was a girl! I really like [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] nn [name_u]Noa[/name_u], and I think itā€™s perfectly intuitive. (I call the [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] I k ow all kinds of things, usually Wellsy. Thereā€™s no W in [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] either! But itā€™s what naturally came from no-well to me. [name_f]Noella[/name_f], [name_u]Noa[/name_u], [name_f]Nella[/name_f] are all just as sensible to me.)

I had a childhood friend whose real name was [name_u]Noa[/name_u].

[name_u]Love[/name_u] it. I have it on my list as a nn for [name_f]Elinor[/name_f], because the R isnā€™t pronounced in my accent, however, Iā€™ve also had it on my list on its own in the past.
