Noah

DF is set on [name_u]Noah[/name_u] again I as really digging [name_m]Gustav[/name_m] but talk me into [name_u]Noah[/name_u], I like it but its so popular! so I have some questions

  1. [name_m]How[/name_m] many do you know and how old, also where do you live?
    2)full name would be [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m], opinions?
3)any sibling suggestions? middle names for brothers would be [name_m]Russell[/name_m], [name_m]John[/name_m], [name_u]Michael[/name_u] or [name_u]Gray[/name_u] (to honour a [name_u]Gary[/name_u]) and middle names for sisters would be [name_f]Laurel[/name_f], [name_f]Darla[/name_f], [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]/[name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]/[name_f]Helen[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]
  2. also do you have any nicknames for [name_u]Noah[/name_u]? they can be a stretch

bump

There is a [name_u]Noah/name_u who’s in my daughters class and I live in [name_u]London[/name_u]. He is the sweetest little kid and the name really suits him!! He has an older sister called [name_f]Laura[/name_f], little brother called [name_m]Finnley[/name_m] (5) and a little sister called [name_u]Piper/name_u.
So it works really well with children and…
There is a man in my Husbands work called [name_u]Noah[/name_u] who is really nice but also very handsome and intelligent!
The name really appeals to me because I’ve hand positive experiences with people with that name!

I think [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] is very nice!

[name_m]Noe[/name_m] is the only nickname I can think of but I think its adorable!

I would switch and go with [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_u]Noah[/name_u] but only because I know 3 Noahs under 5 and have a penchant for Ru- starting names. [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is GORGEOUS though and was a the top of my boy’s list when I was a teen, back before it had become so popular. I’m also in [name_u]London[/name_u] but some of the [name_u]Noah[/name_u]'s I know are at home in Cornwall, UK.

I think the full name sounds very classy- which for me, makes it a keeper

I know 3 Noahs- one is 30-something, one is a teenager, and one is an NBA player, LOL. The 2 that I know personally are great guys. I live in [name_m]New[/name_m] [name_f]England[/name_f], in the US.

The older [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is an only child- the teenager has a sister named [name_f]Kayleigh[/name_f].

Nicknames I know of weren’t to shorten or cutesy the name, but like a sports nickname or a situational nickname. Sorry!

  1. I don’t know any Noahs in my country, actually, but one of my friend’s, who lives in US, has a son named [name_u]Noah[/name_u]. He is 4 and the only [name_u]Noah[/name_u] I know.
2)I quite like the combo but as for me, [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m] has too many R-s.
    3)[name_u]Noah[/name_u] and
    [name_m]Samuel[/name_m]
    [name_m]Phinneas[/name_m]

[name_f]Annabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f]
4)I think [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is short enough to go without any nicknames.

I personally don’t really like either name…not my style. Especially [name_m]Rupert[/name_m]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] sounds so…old. Lol. Also the name of Stewey’s teddy bear is Family [name_m]Guy[/name_m]…

I’ve known two Noahs, one is 2 the other is a teenager.

I love the name [name_u]Noah[/name_u]. It’s a real favourite of mine and I don’t personally know any Noahs. For sibling names I would stick with short, soft names and possibly retain the biblical theme.

BOYS: [name_u]Micah[/name_u], [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_u]Owen[/name_u], [name_u]Ryan[/name_u], [name_u]Luca[/name_u].

GIRLS: [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], [name_f]Eve[/name_f].

I also think [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] is great.

I like the name [name_u]Noah[/name_u] a lot. I think [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] is very handsome.

I personally know/knew two. They both would be in their late 20-early 30s now. Interestingly they had a similar look - tall, athletic, square jaw, brown hair. [name_m]Both[/name_m] were smart, interesting, social magnets and super sweet and carrying. Each had a younger sister [name_f]Krysta[/name_f] and [name_u]Julie[/name_u]. (They are both American though i have no idea where they currently live).

PS: Oh I forgot I have a prof whose name is [name_u]Noah[/name_u] I’d say probably late 40s.

I love the name [name_u]Noah[/name_u]! I probably wouldn’t use it myself, and it’s not on my list, but it’s a future contender!

I know a boy named [name_u]Noah[/name_u] who is 13 and one who is 6. Neither of them use nicknames. I live in the northeastern United States.

Also, one of my father’s co workers daughters is named [name_u]Noah[/name_u]…

Oh, and 6-year-old [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is an only child, but 13-year-old [name_u]Noah[/name_u] has two sisters ([name_u]Madison[/name_u] and [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]) and a brother ([name_m]Jonathan[/name_m]).

I live in a suburb of Chicago and I hear the name [name_u]Noah[/name_u] in public once a day. Three girls I went to highschool with named their son [name_u]Noah[/name_u] in the last two years. It was on my list too but my hubs nixed it due to popularity.

I live in Oklahoma… I have a friend in [name_u]Colorado[/name_u] with a son named [name_u]Noah[/name_u] (3 years old), three friends in Oklahoma with sons named [name_u]Noah[/name_u] (all under 5). My old roommate babysat a boy named [name_u]Noah[/name_u] (5 years old). My husband wanted to name our first [name_u]Noah[/name_u] if it was a boy, but I convinced him otherwise because of the popularity. I really do [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] the name. I thought about using it for a girl and spelling it [name_f]Noa[/name_f]. My husband wasn’t too fond of that…but oh well! Good luck!

My son is called [name_u]Noah[/name_u]. It may be popular but I dont hear it often. Never had another noah in playgroup, nursery or school.

Popularity shouldn’t be that big a factor. Choose what suits your baby!

My older son is called [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] and we considered [name_m]Jasper[/name_m], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_u]Luca[/name_u], [name_m]Caleb[/name_m]… for the one we’re currently expecting. His middle is [name_m]Theodore[/name_m].

Our daughter will be called [name_f]Alice[/name_f] - other names we considered were [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Esme[/name_f], [name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_f]Viola[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].

Our son is called [name_m]Bear[/name_m]. Nicknames tend.to just happen in our family. You cant always preplan as they might not catch on and something random does.

My son’s name is [name_u]Noah[/name_u]. I’ve only met 1 other [name_u]Noah[/name_u].

any others

I completely adore the name, [name_u]Noah[/name_u]! It’s actually one of my very faves. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband & I had planned to eventually use it as a sibling name for my son, [name_u]Rhys[/name_u]. However, we live in Southern [name_u]California[/name_u], & since my son was born 17 months ago, we’ve come to know 6 other [name_u]Noah[/name_u]'s under age 3, which is deterring us from still wanting to use it. There’s also a few celebrities who have sons named [name_u]Noah[/name_u]… [name_m]Brian[/name_m] [name_m]Austin[/name_m] [name_u]Green[/name_u] & [name_f]Megan[/name_f] [name_m]Fox[/name_m], as well as [name_u]Michael[/name_u] Bublé come to mind. But if [name_u]Noah[/name_u] isn’t as common where you live, I would still use it. [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m] is a very nice name!!

I only know one [name_u]Noah[/name_u] from when I was in elementary school and he was my Best [name_m]Friend[/name_m]'s little brother. I think he’s about 14-15 now. I live in [name_f]Canada[/name_f].

[name_u]Noah[/name_u]'s sister was [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]. [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] works with all your MN choices except [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] (ie ending repeated). [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]… they all work.

[name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m] is great!

Nicknames: hm, I don’t think there are any. [name_u]Noah[/name_u]. Or a bet name like [name_u]Noah[/name_u]'s [name_m]Arc[/name_m], or [name_u]Noah[/name_u] Boa.

do they perhaps have another brother between them named [name_m]Liam[/name_m]? I knew a family when I was younger who had a [name_u]Noah[/name_u] who was maybe a year younger then me, [name_m]Liam[/name_m] who was a yeaar or two younger then that and a [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] or [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] a couple years younger then him

I don’t personally know anyone named [name_u]Noah[/name_u]. I live in [name_u]California[/name_u].
It’s certainly the type of name that is popular where I’m from (I know [name_m]Elijah[/name_m]'s, [name_u]Micah[/name_u]'s, [name_m]Josiah[/name_m]'s, [name_m]Jacob[/name_m]'s, [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m]'s, [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]'s, etc.). But I can’t remember ever being acquainted with a [name_u]Noah[/name_u].

[name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m] is nice.

I can see any of the ones I listed as brothers.
