Looking for general feedback on [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] (Nolan [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] is our current favorite frontrunner)
Does it seem trendy or do you think it will age well?
Is it popular in your area? (I have yet to meet one but know many kids named [name_u]Owen[/name_u], [name_u]Noah[/name_u], and [name_u]Logan[/name_u] which all sound similar)
How do you picture a [name_u]Nolan[/name_u]?
What would you name his siblings? (Big sister is Aurora)
Any other general thoughts or experiences are appreciated!
I like [name_u]Nolan[/name_u]! It’s one of those names that doesn’t really feel that popular to me, despite its rank in the charts. I’ve never met one! [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] is handsome
[name_u]Nolan[/name_u] is a very laid-back, handsome name that strikes a lovely balance between quirky cute and strong for me.
[name_u]Nolan[/name_u] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] sound lovely! I could picture [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] or [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] as a sibling as well.
I love [name_u]Nolan[/name_u]! [name_f]My[/name_f] main association is [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] Gould, and he wears it so well! [name_m]Even[/name_m] though it is a name that has become more popular the last few years, I’d definitely say it is more a “timeless classic” than trendy like all the -ayden names (no hate to those!). I don’t know any Nolans though as I do not live in an English-speaking country. I also think it goes great with [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]!
I once had [name_m]Sims[/name_m] twins named [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] and [name_u]Simone[/name_u], I think that was a great pair!
I’ve always loved the way [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] sounds! While I think it is a bit trendy just because of how popular 2 syllable -n ending boy names have become, I still think it’s a name that will age well and I can imagine it on a boy and a man. I don’t know any, but the name is quite familiar. I have this vague idea of there being a baseball player named [name_u]Nolan[/name_u], so that’s how I picture a [name_u]Nolan[/name_u]. I’ve always liked the idea of [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] and [name_m]Gavin[/name_m] as brothers, both fit in well with popular boy names right now but have a slightly gentler feel imo, which I love.
I really like it. I’ve only known one and he’s probably about 36 now so I definitely don’t think it’s trendy. It’s familiar but cool and unexpected
I knew one [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] growing up in the 90s. He was a nice guy, not super outgoing but friendly enough so I have a generally good association with the name
I’ve seen the name on this site but never met another one in person. I think if something catapulted it into the spotlight it could become trendy but so far its flying nicely under the radar.
