Non-name of the day!

I’m fairly certain this has already been done before, but some everyday words based on sound alone would make for some beautiful names! (to me at least)

Today mine is Eclair

[name_f]Do[/name_f] words in other languages count? I’m sure the [name_f]French[/name_f] would find me insane but I think Améliore would make the most beautiful name on the planet. Likewise with the Portuguese and Menina lol. But Améliore is by far my favorite!

Dear, this is nameberry, you’re free to like whatever names you want! (or words in this case) It’d be nice if you were to put the pronunciation with the words from other languages
This is just for fun, so no pressure!

[name_f]Love[/name_f] all the words everyone has said so far!

A [name_f]Berry[/name_f] a few years ago (~2020) had come up with the combo [name_f]Verity[/name_f] [name_m]Pumpkin[/name_m] and I thought it was so cute! I can actually see myself using [name_m]Pumpkin[/name_m] as a nickname unrelated to their real name or as a temporary name during pregnancy

Inspired by [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] Button? :two_hearts:

Ohhh that’s so pretty!! Adding it to my GP!

Reminds me of one of my GPs that starts with the same 3 letters

Ooh I hadn’t thought of this one, sounds pretty! Jumping off similar sounds, I would like to add Aleve for my next non-name of the day lol

Oh I can definitely see this given its similarity to [name_f]Claire[/name_f]! However you are now making me hungry again even though I just ate

My daughter has played with a P@tsy Pumpkin before! Her name was a hyphenated first name and she was born on Halloween. Clearly as a name nerd asked her dad tons of questions about their naming decision!

Mine would be Envelope (like an unusual Penelope)

Malaria, Diphtheria, Measles and Covid could be interesting names if they weren’t diseases.

Other options:
[name_m]Petrichor[/name_m]
[name_f]Epiphany[/name_f]
Iridescent
[name_f]Lullaby[/name_f]
Pristine

I'm a little confused

Are you saying you would change the pronunciation of Envelope to be like [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]? Bc they don’t actually rhyme. [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is Greek so it doesn’t really follow [name_f]English[/name_f] pronunciation rules. [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is pronounced more like peh NEL oh pee in [name_f]English[/name_f]

No of course Penelope has a different pronunciation (very familiar with the name it’s within my family tree along with other Greek names such as Euphemia) honestly got Envelope from SJ Strum podcast and she was elongating the e of envelope to make it rhyme with Penelope which I thought was so funny as she made Envelope sound like a unusual Penelope then I was like actually that’s really neat
